Yes, its probably because most of us get to our relative universities around mid-july. So there won't be enough players to finish the games if it went too far into August. Because preseason starts the first week of August.
Thank you for helping us out. Do we have a rough stats on percentage of college players playing usl 2. Because if I understand it the right way, also non-college players can be a part of those teams. So how does that work ? Is there some strict limitations about the number of college players compared to the number of non-college players ?
What developent league should I try to get chance of going pro? UPSL o NPSL o USL 2? O should try to go to college to try to get in the super draft? This system in usa is a bit confusing but I don't want to give up in my dream I need help don't know we're to go.
Your best bet would be to join an mls teams academy, be a standout player and sign a homegrown contract with that team. From there depending on how good you are you could play for the first team or youd get sent on loan normally to a usl team (most teams actually have feeder teams in the usl). Now keep in mind that only a small percentage make it to the mls and an even smaller percentage can consolidate themselves in that league much less make the jump to Europe so thats where you have to decide between going all out on an attempt to go pro or go to a d1 university with a great soccer program. Keep in mind that if your already a standout player in the academy your bound to eventually get an offer. going the college route in my opinion shouldn’t be your first option but your last resort in case things don’t work out. Best of luck to you bro and remember to always work hard no matter what!
Question there is a USL tryout should I go? I’ve played soccer all my life but never in a team for certain reasons but I play a lot at the park and all the kids I play with are in teams so it’s not like they don’t know what they are doing is it cool if I go or will there be something stopping me like a rule or something
I know this was posted a couple years ago but quick question. Do D1 college coaches (or college coaches in general) scout these usl league 2 games or are they professional team scouts? I’m currently looking for scholarship rather than a professional team right now.
I had a bunch of buddies who played in the naia play in the usl2 during the summers back when it was PDL. I would recommend it, one of my friends got picked up by a really good usl team and the mls two seasons later and plays for his national team. It can be a good stepping stone
Thanks for the vid man ! I got a question so is the usl 2 just a summer league ? Cause I wanna play soccer for univercity in ncaas or sm and also do some people go from usl 2 to usl1 or usl championship ?
Sacramento Gold is in usl2? Or are teams from California in Usl2? And another question it s very important the age? I m asking you because I see a lot of players that are above 27 28 in USL and me I have 23 soon 24 . Thank you very much
What if I'm playing in Europe and our last game in the season is in the begining of June...Is it worth to skip a half season in Europe just to be able to play in the USL2 for the summer?
I have a question bro! I don’t play college, I didn’t go to college but I have a lot of talent. I’m 25. Should I attend a open tryout for Usl league 2 team?? Is it worth it? Or do they just want college players???
Bro, I spoke to managers of USL 2 teams and there are loads of players who are 27,28 and 29. Go do your thing man, your never too young to make it and sign Pro. Look at Ronaldo who is 35 and Ibrahimović is 39. If you have talent and your a hard worker, go for it !
First, you have to find out the closet USL2 team near you. And if they don't have a trial date on their website, message both their Twitter and Instagram, consistently they will respond.

How do players/teams travel to away games?
I know this was posted a couple years ago but quick question. Do D1 college coaches (or college coaches in general) scout these usl league 2 games or are they professional team scouts? I’m currently looking for scholarship rather than a professional team right now.
Find a recruiting camp... Usually 1 week of matches heavily visited by D1,D2 and D3 scouts.
4:42 yeah but the scouts already there to watch jodabenitv
Aye my boy Chris lmao I just now saw this
This is a good channel bro
Thank you Muhammed
Thanks for the info mate
If I make a Usl league 2 team and I have an incredible season, are my chances of going pro high??
of course
I recently signed to a competitive NAIA school and I’m thinking about joining a USL2. Should I maybe talk to my coach about it?
If you want, usl2 doesn’t collide with college games or training
I had a bunch of buddies who played in the naia play in the usl2 during the summers back when it was PDL. I would recommend it, one of my friends got picked up by a really good usl team and the mls two seasons later and plays for his national team. It can be a good stepping stone

My 16year old jus made the Usl2 team out here in jersey , so I’m guessing that’s great if the average is 21
I have a question how would I be able to join a pdl/Usl2 team?
