  • In this video, I go over the bed fishing scenario that you need to know about! I put my GoPro in the super clear water to film bass in their natural habitat, and how they react to the lures we throw! Bed fishing can be one of the most fun ways to catch fish in the spring, but there's one situation where bed fishing can be really tough! I love that you go through theories on bass behavior and reaction. That was super helpful to me. This is the single most educational thing I have seen on bass fishing in a long time. 100 thumbs up.

    Very well said tyler, you very intricately described the timeline of spawn that they were in. If I was fishing lady bird and seen how they were acting after 2 throws I would of moved on, but its good your teaching alot of the people that dont know what is going on here.

    Hey Tyler, up here in Idaho the water temp is around 60° and we've been catching them pretty well. So, we were fishing a pond near my house and there's this one male bass that is guarding a bed in one spot. There's no Female on it yet. When we were fishing the spot there were other bass swimming by the basses bed and the bass would chase them out. It was cool to see! The craziest thing is was when my dad caught one the bass chased the one he had on the hook all the way to the shore! Is this common?

    • @TylersReelFishing
      @TylersReelFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it’s common. In the spring, bass roam around a TON

    I’ve had better luck working much slower leave bait in the eggs and giggle it every couple seconds then move It an inch and repeat until out of eggs

  • @dillanrobeson7742
    @dillanrobeson7742 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Tyler, will every bass have yellow eggs??? Or is it dependent on the fish??

    • @TylersReelFishing

    Could you guys give me some help? It’s been in the mid to upper 80’s here in South MS with water temps in the mid and upper 70’s. The bite has been horrible in the last 3 weeks. I’m just not catching them. Does anybody have tips on what to throw? I have clear water and it’s a small like

    • @TylersReelFishing
      @TylersReelFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For those water temps, your bass are going to be post spawn. Which means they are feeding, but only early early in the morning. Try Topwater and a white swim jig early in the morning next time you go out

    • @JacksonRig
      @JacksonRig 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      TylersReelFishing Thanks for the tips! A white frog and a white fluke got the job done this morning. Went out around 6:45 and caught 4 in about 2 hours which isn’t that bad
