    Lovely. The video made it look so easy. As a child I would watch clouds roll by watching the ever changing shapes. The cloud in the video looked like cotton wool bursting out of an air tight bag. I will aim to try this in a slightly different way and paint onto a gel plate to see what happens.

    I was looking specifically for a tutorial on how to paint a simple blue sky with realistic clouds and am delighted to have come across your channel. I stick to good quality acrylic paint and have quite a lot of Arteza (in the pouches) along with Liquitex, Golden, Winsor&Newton, and Daler Rowney. I've been painting for over two years, self-taught, and though I'm pleased with my progress on painting a nighttime sky, have purposely tried to avoid doing a painting with a daytime sky unless it's cloudless. Even the best of paints can't help when one doesn't know how to begin making a white cloud look realistic! I've watched your video, took some notes, and am ready to practice. This tutorial is perfect as a starting point for learning how to paint clouds. I've just subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching more tutorials.

    What I see in your cloud formation from the top it looks like a childlike formation with long hair flowing off her head with her arms stretched to the back and her mouth looks like it is blowing and her body looks like it is sitting. Totally a Serene and Beautiful Heart felt pictured painted in the sky....I've alway love looking to the sky and seeing what the clouds present in the way of shapes or a scene....GREAT QUESTION!!

    Your titanium white is not opaque in anyway! I do use them but not the white, use an artist grade (heavy body) titanium white (as if needed to add to other colors) to increase opacity the white in this set will not cover a black line. Please work on your titanium white.

    How do u make a gradient with acrylic paint then i try to make one the first color just dries and the second just like runs over the first one

    • @arteza
      @arteza  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Blend a portion of the medium color into the white space and just a little bit of the lightest color, using a circular motion. Next, blend more of the medium color into the first color blend. This starts creating a gradient of color.

She just painted John Wick for her Aunt last week. This channel will help her to expand her painting skills, I'm sure. And we've never tried Arteza paint before..so hoping to afford some paints in the near future. But first we need to figure out why she has a lump on her neck. Waiting on blood work results. 😢

And I think it would be kind of impossible to look at the paints THROUGH THE SCREEN and KNOW what the colors are. For me, at least.

    I’ve bought your watercolor paints and 3 travel size books for my 13 yr old granddaughter for Christmas. After watching Vianney use Arteza paint on her gel plate I’m thinking of buying her also some acrylic paints to. I know I will be showing her your TH-cam channel to get some inspiration for painting.

    I was so excited to see you partnered with Alyssa! I love Arteza and have some supplies from you all already. But art supplies are quite expensive and we aren't too well off and have 2 little girls so I always put my wants last. This set would be a dream for me to win. Thank you for this video and for giving people a chance to win this beautiful set!

    I like these step by step paintings. They’re great for people like me, who are creative but not necessarily artistic by nature.

    Learned about Arteza from Alyssa Nicole's videos a while back and all the items looked very good and inetersting! Looking forward to use their paints and other stuff! Lately I've gotten into art(of all kinds) and this video surely helps me a lot as a beginner!

    • Q.1) Should we dip the brushes before applying the acrylic paint?
    • Q.2) We have to make the clouds with a dry brush?

      Im thinking we start the clouds with a dry brush.

      Hi there! You certainly can dip the brushes prior to adding acrylic paint. We recommend experimentation. We recommend using a dry brush for creating the clouds.
