Mr Williams, Your art work on Promeathea represents a hi-water mark in comix and in comix philosophy. The art is brilliant on every level. A high point in my comix reading. Thanks for making something great for us to enjoy and contemplate.
This is awesome that you got to interview him! Not a big comics person but watching this and a couple reviews of Promethea has really got me interested. It seems like Williams and Moore were able to create some very unique worldbuilding together.
Just finished reading promethea. Great story by Alan and incredibly beautiful art work by J.H Williams the third. I think I have to read it many times to fully understand the story. And this is even though I have studied religion, mythology, philosophy and psychology for more than 20 years. So it's a good read, but not an easy read. Will probably also look through it many times just to enjoy the artwork 😃👍
His Art is truly remarkable! I was blown away the first time reading this! Both the story and art are amazing! I remember DC had planned for a Immateria edition (with "à l'italienne" printing format) & that's been in limbo for sometime now. I HOPE they eventually reprint the Absolute Editions in the near future! Also, IDW had printed his work on Sandman-Overture in a Gallery Edition Format, I hope they do the same with his work on Promethea!
Promethea is an amazing story.... this book is a hidden gem

@@TheComicsCube oh man, that was really cool!
Great interview, looking forward to listening to the rest!
Very fascinating, I've had multiple strokes as well and it just fueled my passion for creativity
Yes!
For me it was Chase, but Promethea was a wonderful rediscovery of Jim's work.

Damn it’s crazy, I always thought JH Williams was the best in the business.
He's definitely up there!
When the next part?
We decided to put it up next week. Apologies for the delay.
I have the posters in my cubby.
What was that book you held up?
Yes!
