Mexican huichol art tumbler / Wixarika art tumbler / Timelapse

- This is a time lapse of how I made my first Mexican Huichol art tumbler. It took me over 14 hours to complete this cup but it completely worth it. This tumbler has many Huichol symbols: a hummingbird, a scorpion, snake, fire, the moon, a sun, a corn plant, some peyote flowers, some eyes of God and others. Every symbols has different meanings for the Huichol/Wixarika culture, you can find more info online, or wait for my next Huichol tumbler to find out more about these symbols!

How do you seal the beads in afterwards? Between washing and lips touching I'd think they will start to fall off...I'm thinking resin 🤔

This is so unique and beautiful. I have started one last year but my own design and just never find the time to finish. I like the pins you are using to load the beads, what are they called? They look like they would help make things go much faster.
Thank you so much! I would love to see yours, I used regular pin, but I would recommend you to use beading needle, the longer the better, I have seen needles up to 5 inches long, that will made it so much easier

Muchas gracias! Use resina al final para sellarlo( no aparece en video), pero en realidad no me gusto el acabado 😪, voy a tratar con un nuevo pegamento para que se pueda lavar, lo uso y les cuento 😉
Hay un pegamento que venden en las mercerías dónde venden chaquira, no tiene un nombre en especial, solo dile que pegamento para sellar figuras con chaquira pegada.
O bueno donde yo lo compro no tiene marca, soy de Tepic Nayarit

It is E6000 you can find it at walmart, michaels, and as dream-catcher said amazon too

Thank you! Actually I did epoxied it, but I have to say I didn't like how it looks, I think I need to find something different to seal it or maybe use less epoxy I'm not sure yet, but as soon as I figure it out I'll make a tutorial 😊

One last question, I'm using seed beads of 15/o and some of 11/o, what sizes are you using here?
I used 11, but mine weren't calibrated so it looks kind of different sizes, I'm waiting for my new beads to arrive
