Nice Chevrolet Silverado, I always wanted on of these, the perfect combo with this would be a 1999 Chevrolet Lumina so that would be my city car and the Silverado would be for utility purposes and etc.
I have a similar truck down to the interior mine even has the 6lug axels but mine is a 1990 k1500 with a 350 the trans just went out gear 3&4 so I’m taking it to the shop tomorrow
No, the 6,2 was naturally aspirated..When the 6,5 came along, there were both turbo and non turbo versions available, but only for maybe the first year, as I remember..Then all 6,5s were turbo charged, but none of them had intercooler, this was implemented in the 6,6 liter Duramax.
Love how people call these Silverados when that’s only a trim level on these trucks. Cheyanne is the equivalent to a modern Silverado. Nice truck. Wouldn’t mind having one to upgrade to a 6.5 since these are the stronger of the two engines when turbo’d.
Such nice shape favourite body style of any truck

I miss this truck like hell; not a fast one, but it's solid and rugged....Check this out: th-cam.com/video/uxrVwAFhSHo/w-d-xo.html
That flowmaster exhaust sure sounds nice. I'm putting on true dual single chambers in a couple weeks on my 6.2

I have a truck like this but it normal size 1500 extended can regular bed 5 lug 5 speed 6.2 diesel grandpa gave it to me said it’s a pretty rare truck
why does it have the 88 89 front headlights
Because the headlight was converted to European specs; H4...
is this a turbo diesel like the K2500 had in 1992,,, i know nothing about these but want to buy one..

No, I never did...The truck was sold shortly after this video was made...

What is the correct way to call the truck? I'm not being a smart-ass I'm just wanting to know what is right.
Does that have a turbo in it
Nope, the 6,2 l is naturally aspirated
But Gale Banks does make everything to make it a turbo motor.
