rh 443 - Jill and Frank discuss working things out, they are interrupted by a call from Seneca and told to come to the hospital because Edmund's taken a turn for the worse. Mary and Delia get into it again, prompting Pat to set a wedding date.

Mary, is such a control freak. I sympathize with Jack. I, certainly wouldn't want to be married to Mary Ryan Fenelli, the most sanctimonious, self righteous, and opinionated woman on the planet..

Totally agree. And the Hepburn impersonation the actress does gets on my last nerves.

I don't remember the outside noises, like the horn honking, being heard in the hospital before.

I called it right!!!!! I always thought Frank reminded me of Liberace I googled the actor today and I wasn't alone I found out he played Liberace in an eighties tv movie to rave reviews!!!! .I see him beyond Liberace now though actually enjoy him very much as frank

I love this Frank because he is a good actor and really captures the character. The first Frank had the right look but, poor guy, had an alcohol problem (although he could be really good when he wasn't under the influence I guess) and Daniel Hugh Kelly, the third Frank, yelled too much. The longer he played the character, the better he got but the early episodes are really annoying because all he did was yell, lol. Geoffrey Pearson, the fourth Frank was a good actor and kind of fit the role physically, but he was too much of a tough guy type and I never saw him as a politician. And the fifth and final Frank, John Sanderford, had the right look and I guess he was okay -- just not my favorite. Even though Daniel Hugh Kelly was probably the best looking Frank Ryan, I think his sanctimonious behavior when he fooled around on Jillian, with Rae Woodard, was stomach-turning.

Seneca can be a real pain sometimes; Jack asks Jill a question and he answers for her! Then he tells Frank the baby's not going to die, though that would make things easier for him! Did Frank even so much as hint or imply that he wanted Edmund to die???? That was uncalled for.
