Hi Nicole, I hope you guys had a happy Thanksgiving! This was a beautiful adventure, I really enjoyed seeing this more remote area of Nevada. It’s a shame not much remains of some of the towns where the markers now stand. I am loving this series! Take care!

Thank you so much for the kind words. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well. I was mentioning in the other comment, that even though there remains not much, if anything of these old places, I try to find old pictures in the UNLV libraries if I can. But sometimes even then there is no trace of their existence.
It's getting colder so I don't know how many Northern Nevada Markers I'll be hitting during winter, but I still have a few I need to hit South of Las Vegas.

I also try to search the UNLV libraries for pictures of these old towns or whatever the marker is about, but this episode I couldn't find any old pics of the towns / mining operations these markers spoke of. :(

You should plan a trip to Great Basin National Park. I think you would enjoy it. I'm liking this series of videos.

Oh for sure! I definitely need to get out there. I’m very curious to see that part of Nevada!

I've always thought US 6 is a lonelier road than US 50.

I’ve actually heard that as well. I definitely want to venture out to experience it.
