You don't necessarily need to be outgoing to have conversations with strangers I am an introvert in general but whenever I travel solo I always strike a conversation with everybody. You never know what hidden secrets locals might tell you 😂

Love the line "Americans are so friendly" when less than 90 seconds earlier a parking attendant threatens him with his taxi if it parks there. Up there with the places I'd least like to go to - and Texas is one of the parts I would do 🤣

@@linsaylang9222Yeah the security people were a bit rude but the taxi guy at the airport seemed like he was in a rush to go somewhere yet he waited to help him even when Simon asked a follow-up question.

Last year this time I was in the middle of the worst depression of my life and I was in a very dark place. During that time Simon's videos kept me going. As I'm writing this I overcame what was causing my depression and I've never been so happy in my life I'm in a great place thank you Simon
Things I appreciate about Simon. 1) He is such a bundle of joy and sees the good in every single person which makes his energy so wonderfully infectious. And 2) He shows literally every second of his travels - the fact he went to try and find a boat and there wasn’t one, most people would just cut that out of videos. It’s nice to feel like I’m watching something real.
This man just made my year again. I'm so happy to see him again. Love you Simon

Welcome to the USA Simon! Hearing you first say "Monster Jam" with curiosity was pretty funny. Never really thought about an outsiders perspective on monster trucks of all things 😅
Not only is this series so good already, but this is just a tiny display of what USA is actually like when we don't look at politics. Look how many people he met that aren't even from the country. And on top of it, Monster Jams are as American as it gets.
One of the most beautiful things about the US is it's diversity. Excited to see what else Simon gets into and who he meets along the way :)

Simon has never posted a bad video. Every video he does is absolutely class! The monopoly series are some of the best content I’ve seen on TH-cam for AGES! So excited for this!
So the edition of Monopoly that Simon is playing is from 2006. He landed on Texas Stadium and that is actually different from where he went. Texas Stadium was the home to the Cowboys from 1971-2008. The stadium was demolished in 2010. AT and T Stadium (where Simon actually went) was built and opened in 2009. It’s the only place that Simon could have went to finish the card since Texas Stadium is demolished but I thought some might be interested in what the card actually was and why he ended up where he did.
Literally finished re-watching the Travel Monopoly videos the hour before this was released! Can't wait for (probably!) another brilliant series 😀

I met Simon once in the barbers - what you see on the videos is the exact same as what you see in real life. Even had the courtesy to say bye to me as he was leaving as I didn't notice him get up to pay - such a genuine gent
