Your comment on the 0-60 time of this car kinda threw me off, I am running a 100% bone stock 2016 v6 on 87 octane and I consistently get low 6's in sport mode (automatic trans) with my fastest being a 5.9 (hit twice). How are you getting high 6s in a modded 2015 v6? Like are there certain conditions you run in that make accelerating unfavorable?
i have only 2 explanationd as of right now. 1: i am shitty at launching my car just bc i havent done it enough. 2: my tires are only 275s or 255s i forget, but they also arent a very soft tire, so i get more mileage out of them.
255's, 275 are for the 5.0 performance package, wont need bigger than 255's to get lower than 6 seconds, the grip isnt the problem, not sure what is but the compound and size of the tires for the v6 and ecoboost arent very relevant due to the much lower power than the v8. as its automatic idk how to improve shift time or launch.
There is a intake air temp reading and ambient temp reading on the center display. After being parked and getting heat-soaked the OEM air box can be 50 degrees above ambient. Does this CAI improve on that ? Not really interested in sound but in functionally cooler charge air while you are actually driving.
Andres Ricardo sorry about that man our lives just got real busy. I think the time dropped about half a second or just over. But the major difference was the shifts as it seemed to shift harder and more aggressively. Definitely a good mod for any new mustang

I like 370z that is what I would of bought if I didn't get a 2014 v6 mustang manual, I have added bbk shorty headers and sctx4 tuner and 3.73s, adding mpt tune next
so before the tuner, i was running consistently 6.9/7 sec 0-60.(given i am not the best at launching my car). the car really fell on its face around 2-4k rpm, but around 5000 it would start to actually run a little. After the tuner and cold air intake(700$ combo on americanmuscle.com), i was still running about a 6.7 0-60. Although the numbers didn't show it, i really felt the car get up and go much better. Shift points were harder, more low and high-end horsepower, overall a bit faster. Regardless my shitty 0-60 times, the tuner and cold air intake definitely made a difference in drivability, as the car was much more fun to drive afterward. Lastly, the CAI sounds terrific. It makes a great whoosh noise as soon as i rev it a little, and makes it sounds very deep. Also increases cabin noise so keep in mind if you are worried about drone. Let me know if you have any more questions.
You have the best looking '15 v6 I've seen by far. I'd think a wing like that would look silly but it's pulled off nicely. Just a quick question, do the roush axlebacks drone? Looking for a good sounding exhaust but drone is a problem for me.
+Rhettness thanks mate! im not sure how the car sounds with just axle backs, but with the xpipe ad axle backs, the drone was quite noticable. if you want to keep your car drone free, i would stick eith the stock resonator, or maybe an h pipe. but i know for sure the xpipe roush combo has a lot of drone, i dont mind it tho :)
+Rhettness I have Roush axle backs and CAI installed at different times. Mufflers installed first. Sounds great but there is drone when cruising between 55-70 MPH as the RPMs run between 1500-2000. I've gotten used to it now and with the radio one, becomes even less of an issue. I didn't notice much of a sound change after putting in the CAI as the mufflers, I believe, have more impact.
