@@ekago666 I like Hammoura and Laureano, but Kollias put some "spice" on Nile. And watch him playing double pedal is fkn amazing!!! Looks like his feet are just floating over pedals!
the last thing I thought when I heard the previous release from Nile was the only thing missing was another guitar player?! Still a great band but an additional guitar player was not required.
I’m sort of confused, I thought this was about Egyptian Gods but I’m seeing references in the art to the Star of David and the Crucifixion. Are they talking about YHWH?
@@devincoburg272 well I wasn’t sure because I saw other comments referring to the one god as one of Egypts gods. So I wasn’t sure. The song did seem to be about the plagues? Maybe I missed something.
More of the same: flat production, same riffing over and over again with ocassional breakdown in the middle, Kolias overblasting during the whole song. It's unbelievable that they wrote songs like "User Maat Re", "Defiling the Gates of Ishtar" and "Unas..." and now are limiting themselves to play boring and soulless tech death.
Tony’s drumming is super hard hitting whereas George’s is more precision / technical. I prefer Tony but also adore Derek Roddy (BSOV) & Pete Hammoura (ATCON-K).
geez, after all this centuries, George Kollias still a fkn gdmn beast behind a drumm kit 🔥
Wow, you are absolutely correct. That footwork is stunningly good.
💯💯💯💯💯
And Sanders still can create fkn good riffs !!
@@SamirSiqueira yea man, nile are absolute solid death metal unit, despite changing member, karl and kollias always deliver brutality perfectly

Nile is one of the very very few bands that manage to get better with time and outdone themselfs with each and every new record.
what’s so unique here?😂
Your reading comprehension sucks @@suk4ed
@@suk4ed To be fair, he never said "unique" :P
@@suk4ed Nile has their own unique voice imo.
Annihilation of the Wicked is still their best effort, but these new songs are up there!
This track is unreal. It's perfect. The fill section from around 3:05 is UNBELIEVEABLE!
🤦
Reminds me of old hate eternal.
Best way to wake up, to new Nile. 🤘🏻

Hands down my favorite of the released tracks
The intro and the fill at 3:07 is So sick!
George absolutely killing it and always hitting new bpms.
His drumming is truly inspirational.
How is there an intro in the middle of the song?

Sad but True
You have perfectly described what happens to me with this band for a long time, I prefer Tony Laureano over Kollias easily

Everything post Sethu (yes the thinnest prod but it has its own identity at least) is kemper amp plastic tEcH dEatH without soul and atmosphere.
