Been married 10 years and when we first got married we found out that I couldn’t « carry a baby » (long story). My husband would put his hand on my belly and just pray and declare the blood of Jesus because we knew God had promised us children.
10 years on and we have 3 beautiful children, 3 very contested pregnancies BUT 3 very healthy children. Keep the faith and pray. What God promises he will fulfil. Don’t lose hope and trust HIS timing. In the meantime enjoy your marriage. You’re a wonderful couple.
Thanks for being so open and vulnerable, I pray your courage will be received with grace. ❤❤

While pregnant with my oldest son I had an ultrasound and the tech saw something and called another tech in to confirm what the first tech saw. They wouldn't tell me anything but told me the doctor would call me. The doctor stated my sons foot was turned funny so a 2nd ultrasound was needed. That ultrasound confirmed my son would be born with a club foot. My mom told the assistant pastors wife who prayed for my son and she told me God is going to move and my son's foot would be fine. My son was born and his foot was fine as she said it would be because God told her it would be. There is power in prayer and God hears the prayers of the righteous and honors them. I'm praying God will bless you and that He will give you the desires of your heart. He's faithful and that's why He's worthy of our praise.

As someone with PCOS and ovarian cysts who had her first baby 21mos ago at 34 please don’t be discouraged. What’s for you is what’s for you. Just remain positive and enjoy trying. As soon as you stop worrying about it. IT WILL HAPPEN FOR YOU!!! It took me almost 2.5yrs to conceive and I’d stopped trying the last year and got the greatest surprise. Just to share a little of my fertility story. In Feb 2020 I had an ultrasound (I thought I was pregnant) turned out I had cysts on my ovaries the doctor turned the screen towards me and explained it and then after the ultrasound he explained to me that I had many symptoms of PCOS and it would very hard to conceive and if I did I wouldn't be able to carry to term In July I was menstruating and had VERY SEVERE pain and I actually went to the ER. Another ultrasound was done and all of my cysts had ruptured. October 2020 I found out I was almost 3 months pregnant. I had completely given up on the idea of having children. I was happy and terrified because yes I conceived but I remembered that doctor saying I wouldn't carry to term. My baby boy came at exactly 40 weeks 21inches 8lbs3oz (healthy and chunky) and his sister followed suit in December 2022
I say all of this to say everything is truly in God's timing ❤

I wanted to get pregnant like 6 months after I got married…. I got pregnant 2 years later…. At that time my husband and I were not on good terms. We were literally on the cusp of divorce and then bam. I know that was God’s timing. She brought so much joy to our marriage and brought us closer together…. She’s now 4 and right after I had her I got pregnant again… she was like 6 months when I found out I was pregnant with him…
Trusting God can be a lot but his timing is everything! And once you have your first one they’re going to keep coming! Praying for you!!!

For some people, no matter what it is, if you desire something so badly, pray about it and let go. Truly let it go and let God. Because once you believe and have faith, TAKE THE WORRY out and just be. It'll come when God wants you to have it 🙏🏾

Best and hardest advice to hear. Draw closer to Him, stop worrying, praise him, stay prayerful, and keep the faith. It's His Will and not yours that shall be done. When you live like this, life is more peaceful and in line with God's plan. I am speaking from a place of not having the control I wanted, but when I let go and let God, things changed for me. Thank you Jesus for my testimony!

I woke up on my 38th bday and cried out to God to please bless my womb. I had a 18 yr old son but my Husband and I didn’t have any biological children together. The Elders at my church were touching & agreeing with me in prayer. My baby boy just turned 10 on May 3. You keep TRUSTING GOD! BELIEVING GOD! SERVING GOD! I’m already excited for your miracle!! 🙏🏾💙💖

At 18 I had a cyst on my right ovary and it was removed and I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I was placed on birth control to regulate it. At 24 years of age with one ovary and endometriosis I became pregnant with my Son. A few years later I had my Daughter. To God be the Glory!🙌🏽

    Hey Jess
To share my experience with your situation. This is long but I hope you and hubby read until the end.
My husband and I tried for almost 5 years before we had our 1st biological child. The doctors did diagnose me with POS and my periods were always irregular, but I never paid any attention to it before we were trying to have a baby. We tried all the fertility treatments except for invitro. It was a rough journey, but it only happened after we relaxed and let God. Enjoy your husband in the waiting and do all you can afford to do until God is ready for you to expand your family. It is going to be rough, especially when you hear about people getting pregnant whom you don't think deserves too... girl that is going to eat you to pieces. But shed your tears sis. Then perk yourself back up and keep on living. I have a cousin who didn't take care of any of her kids, and I know that because I took her 2nd child and then she had a 3rd, and that child came to me every weekend, every holiday and every summer break until she stopped coming. Then my cousin had a 4th child around the same time I was trying to get pregnant and get this she was almost 50 years old, and I was in my early 30. When I heard she was pregnant yet again I really felt like God was confused about who to bless with children. I cried like someone had died and my heart ached in my chest. A few years later my husband and I found we were 2 or 3 months pregnant. It was so random we got different due date every time I had a scan. We couldn't even pinpoint when it happened. Now we have 3 beautiful kids (16, 14, and 12 years old) along with the adopted son we had before. Yes, when the flood gates opened the kids kept coming. Only God knows when your situation is right for you to start your family. In the meantime, love God and love on your husband.
My personal advice for you though is to get rid of the pregnancy tests they will keep you anxious and you don't need that in your life.

I found out I had pcos in 2017 when I was 23...it broke my heart because ive always seen myself with my own family. Ive been married for 6 years, together for 8. My Husband said he was told when he was younger having kids would more than likely not be a possibility. We both still hold onto the hope that it will happen but we agreed to not stress about it and let God be in control. If it doesnt happen, we will live out life loving each other and continue to live our lives together. We will give love to other peoples children. We raised my sister from the age of 8 til now (shes 14) and she's been a missing piece in a way since my mother died in 2018. I find myself wishing we would get pregnant soon but stressing about it hurts worse so I just try to keep it pushing. I have cried many nights in the beginning when we first started trying 7 years ago. Love you Jess, stay strong ❤️ I know its hard.

Proverbs 18:21 says, “Life and death are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit”. You both need to speak LIFE! There is LIFE in your womb in Jesus Name but please do not idolize having a baby! The reason your waiting could be because you haven’t been content in the your season your in. I definitely understand. I never thought about kids or being married.Until one day I woke up with the strongest urge to have a baby. Like I was in tears every night saying I don’t want to live life if I can’t have a baby. I would get emotional seeing other people with their kids. Then I became jealous seeing people around me getting pregnant so easily. I have pcos and hadn’t had any periods for months. Plus we weren’t being safe in the 5 years we’d been married. Once we decided to try I told my doctor. She gave me medicine to bring on my periods. I started working on my health. And I prayed hard. Like I said “God please! I just want a baby for my birthday. I want a baby with my color that looks like his daddy. That’s all I want.” I took the medicine for 3 weeks and worked out. My doctor scheduled my husband for testing to see if he could have kids. Out of nowhere my mother started telling me she had a dream about fish. I was in denial but tested anyway. I was actually pregnant. It honestly made me believe prayer works. Especially when the baby looked just how I prayed he would. I still don’t even feel like I deserved for God to answer my prayers the way He did. I’m long winded but I say all that to say, keep the faith. God has you and prayer works. Keep praying and stay faithful.

I definitely understand, my sister and her husband went through the same situation. I have a friend who waited to get pregnant as well, and when she relaxed and stopped thinking about it…. It happened!
My mom advised us to wait awhile because my husband was in college, I definitely understood after not waiting, our daughters have been giving the same advice.
We were blessed with 5 daughters, but I definitely advise everyone to wait at least 2 years, depending on your situation. We have a 33, 30, 28, 19,19 , .

You get pregnant when you least expect it. You have to let it go! I took prenatals and just kind of manifested it on accident just believing In it and letting it go and two/three months later I was pregnant! Seemed like when I was TRYING it didn’t work but when I didn’t try it came to me. I also prayed to God for my second baby and left it in his hands. You got this babe. God will give it to you when you’re truly ready.

When you said I don’t want to call it infertility. I said exactly don’t call it that it’s just not in GOD timing. Think about it .Just bcuz u think your ready for something doesnt mean your ready for what you prayed for. God is not making you wait he’s preparing you.
I just watched your vlog last night and you said “I don’t know if I have enough space in my heart for a kid” bcuz u are so full from your nieces and nephews. God knows that so maybe he’s prepping your heart and making space for your child, testing if how bad you really want a baby, so when the time comes you do have a baby you put in so much effort and preparation that then you have space in your heart and appreciation for him or her!
God knows better than us! Now let me finish watching cuz I’m only 7 mins in

I haven’t finished the podcast but I’m an embryologist in a reproductive clinic/lab and I just want you to know that you’re not alone. I think women tend to take the weight of fertility without realizing sometimes the male could play a part too. I would recommend Jonathan get a semen analysis if he’s comfortable, just to make sure everything is ok on his end. Sometimes you might just need a little more time too, but don’t beat yourself up. Fertility treatments and the talk of infertility is becoming more normalized since we are waiting a little longer to have babies.

Speaking as a practicing physician, it is not that “ we don’t want to help you yet.” It’s more of expressing that it is “normal” to not get medically concerned until 12 mo of not getting pregnant. Also we physicians also do not want to cause emotional stress during this journey because stress also affects the natural process.

God is definitely a healer... at the age of 19, I found out I was pregnant, 2 days after we buried my dad. Throughout my pregnancy, my doctors told me that my baby would come out blind because of an STD that I had, due to my partner/ ex-husband. I was told that I would need laser surgery before my baby was born. I went home, cried and prayed and asked God to work a miracle in me. At 8 mths pregnant, I went into early labor, and I had to tell the hospital ( different hospital), about what was going on. They took an ultrasound and checked me out, and said they didn't see anything. I was so relieved and thankful!!! God is awesome and He Is a healer, and whatever you need him to be. Just be patient J&J, your time is coming!!! Thank you for sharing... love you guys!!!

Jess I really appreciate you being so transparent and what you are going through. I had my first child a month of not trying, but after I got very sick. 4 years later I was told I had PCOS and cysts on my ovaries and that I would only have more kids through IVF but not naturally. I was very much heartbroken and cried my eyes out but I prayed and the Lord promised me through His word that I would have another baby. In 2023 I had my second baby. I waited 10 years to have my second child and I got retested and found out I never had PCOS only non diabetic insulin resistance. The Lord opened my womb and closed my womb for all the right reasons. I am absolutely grateful to the Lord that He gave me grace to wait upon Him and fully trust Him and He delivered. I am praying for you two and May the Lord bless y'all with a baby.. ❤❤

I love love this video. It spoke to me so much, thank you for being so vulnerable and open, as you said these are conversations most people share after the blessing, I applaud your courage and boldness to share this. Your story is very similar to mine, I got married at around the same time as you, April 22, we have been trying for a year and nothing yet. I can relate to you Jess asking yourself 'why do I want kids' because that's something as I have gone through this journey I keep thinking about. I really struggle with that because every time I get my period and cry, that question always haunts me, somehow I seem to think I need to have the perfect answer so that I can justify my emotions. But sometimes it is just a natural thing, even women in the Bible cried due to infertility, Hannah cried out to God and begged Him for a child, It is natural to desire children and as women going through this I think we need to give ourselves grace and be kinder to ourselves. There's so much I could write, I really resonated with almost everything you spoke about because I have thought it and have also gone through it. I am amazed how similar our stories are. I also went through a 'diagnosis' of endometriosis but when I went to a different doctor I was told everything is fine, I was so confused because I questioned if God had truly healed me from the first doctor's visit to the second, but I love what Jonathan said, God still shows His glory even in times of waiting. I have truly seen that. I think the comfort I get from watching this video is knowing that I am not alone, that there other people going through this.

I walked around for years with endo and did not know until I went under the knife. Love. It’s not infertility. It’s changing the things that’s blocking your fertility energy from fully flowing. I just feel that in my soul. I watched the Toni Braxton movie yesterday, and 30 minutes in, when Toni’s character was getting all glammed up and she realized that she had a pimple, the stylist said I have this pimple remover liquid thing...sorry can’t remember the name or description of the product...and the stylist say if you are planning on having a baby within a year don’t use it.
Love if someone give you a disclaimer like that, DON’T USE it AT ALL!!!!
You use all these chemical products on your skin, and you have no idea what the health implications are. Go natural with all your products luv. DETOX, DETOX, DETOX.
YOU ARE FERTILE--haha, as I am typing this you are saying “do you believe in speaking things into existence” . Agree with Jonathan “Your Words Matter”. It’s vibration love. Your thoughts and intentions are energy too. They all matter. Your actions matter too. Please start making some actions with these chemically products.
I love Jonathan saying “We” even he said “We not pregnant”.

Especially when you stated that you’re having to wait hits home. I’ve been with my Husband for 9 years married for 3. And it has been a struggle for us as well. No issues on both ends and although I’ve never been diagnosed with any condition, I often felt what could possibly be wrong. Hi Jess and Johnathan, I was listening to this like I was telling my own story. My husband and I were held bend on only trying after we got married. Long story short we fell pregnant about a year into our marriage and 8 weeks later I had an ectopic pregnancy that should’ve claimed my life but God put that very difficult lesson on our path and it became my test. I remember crying during my prayers and asking God what I did wrong to deserve something so traumatic happening to me. He answered me and said “be still and know that I am God , I will never place a rock in your path that you cannot overcome. “ I held onto those words and a year and a half later God answered our prayer. I’m expecting my little miracle baby and I just wanted to share in hopes that whoever needs to hear this God’s timing is everything even if we don’t understand. ❤

The clear blue digital ovulation test and the strip tests at the same time are extremely helpful for knowing the perfect time to try. Also take Mucinex 2 days before you ovulate, the day you ovulate, and 2 days after. Also try preseed before intercourse. I hope this is helpful!

I tried medications to induce ovulation, had IUI and nothing. I lost 114lbs and was able to get pregnant but then I had 2 ectopic pregnancies and lost a fallopian tube. I was depressed and afraid to try again, but I did and finally, I had my second baby last year. My boys are 9 years apart, which was not the plan, but my baby boy was worth the wait.
