i have probably said this in one of your other videos but IN MY DAY we went down range with a kabar, crimpers, electrical tape, engineers tape and a crappy navy pocket knife. i even remember when leatherman gave us some of their tools to test. it is amazing the plethora of assets you have as a tech these days. i was going to suggest those little flags used by the gas company for those parts of the earth that literally have nothing to tie a flag to but your little baggies could be used as sandbags to mark a route.
The best use for a laser pointer? To aim at MCU stars giving press events for upcoming movies to remind them not to say to much. They wil, think it’s a sniper aiming at them. Ha ha

Thr travel size gold bond or baby powders sold at Walmart and various pharmacies would be about 1/3 the size of your current chalk container.

Amazon has squeeze bottles for like $2 for your chalk. You could get them small enough that you could probably fit 2 colors.
Also, I just bought a spiritus dangler with the idea of putting my HAL shit in there, but I might setup something more like this.
I highly recommend going this route. Using the HAL is super deliberate but god damn is it annoying chasing this random stuff in your ruck.

That’s what I have the chalk for. Bare ground, that is more or less the best option for the available space and weight.
