Most Ironworkers spend their lifetime having to explain what an Ironworker is to the general public because all trades damn near go unnoticed nice for these guys to give the world a glimpse of who they call when it’s next to impossible
Bolting tower cranes to the side of a building under construction has been done for a least a decade (by my fading memory) in Shanghai. Surprised its taken us this long to catch on in the US.
Whenever you’re that high up you just don’t think about the hight. idk maybe it’s just me. 80 ft is more scary than 800ft. It’s not the fall that kills you it’s the sudden thud at the bottom.
