    Just to say the standalone version has a ton of useful features like backing track, buitin looper, drum machine, recording capability (in order to record your brilliant riff you've just came up with)... So tonlib a is a brilliant piece of software! The sound is really good and the cherry on top is that there's a Linux version where everything works right out of the box. I personally think that for Linux tonelib is by far the best software for guitar players

    • @Busiless
      @Busiless  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes absolutely. I come back to the app quite often, usually though a VST version so I'm missing out on some great features 🤘😎

    Enjoyed watching, big applause for your work Busiless and sharing it with us 👌I think I'm installing this GFX and test it myself and then see if I should buy the full version.. Kind regards.

    amplitube used too much RAM and I found it tacky how they charged hundreds of dollars for individual virtual pedals so I went with ToneLib. Great value. Has everything you need without bells and whistles. Constant dev updates. I don't have the issue with the community presets. Loads fast for me.

    • @Busiless

      I kinda like the interface of amplitube, sounds good too but don't use it too much. Maybe if I had a full version... But in general when I'm paying something or recording, usually ToneLib GFX gets launched first. 🤘😎

    @Busiless Hey man great video, I am about to try the 30 day free time to check if I like the program. It is not that bad of a price if the program is good to buy it actually! One question though, I am kind of new to this , how do you know where in the "chain" to put the different effects and stuff, when you say lets put it here for instance, what decides where to put the effect?

    • @Busiless
      @Busiless  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi. Sorry for the late reply ;) busy days. Well You normally treat this kind of like a normal guitar amp. So you Put your "stompboxes" first then an amp, then a speaker cab. But there's no right or wrong. Just experiment, and get some inspiration from real life setups. You can't break anything and sometimes the weirder setup may result in some super cool sounds. Let me know how it is going :)
      All the best!

      It is actually quite good just it’s not free as far as I know. Have you tried bogren vst’s they’re also quite good for high gain sounds?

    A quick Q, what audio interface are you using for this? I use Tonelib and am about to do an upgrade for an interface. The tones you're getting sound great with the interface used here. Thank you.

    The integrated looper does not work well. It introduces a small lag at the start of the loop, big enough to make It unusable. This bug has been reported but I don't see how it's been addressed. Besides this, I love the plugin.
    Maybe I lack the experience to make additional complaints, yet I am about to purchase it.
    Seems good for my needs.

    • @Busiless
      @Busiless  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi. I’ve never tried the looper though. Sure, I’m just finishing a song where most of the guitars are going through it. I think there was a discount on their website recently so have a look 🤘😎

    Is it possible to search by name?
    weird right

      @Busiless  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well that feature isn't that great yet. You can't really search by anything as far as I remember. And don't try to sort by name, it can take ages 🤨. Did you buy it or just trying a trial?

      Hi. Sure it depends what will be the application. For professional and super clean recordings, let's wait for an update 😉 for fun and just more bedroom recording it's actually cool (given the price). Also it depends on the genre I think. What do you usually play?

  • @elwrongo

    I think this one sounds pretty cheap and thin. Especially for straight amp cleanish type guitar sounds, not convincing for me. Also tacky that they say 59 Tweed Bassman but show pic for a 65 BF Bassman, bery different amp. Neural DSP's ToneKing is pretty amazing but not free. Kuassa's Matchlock and Lancaster are also pretty good. Not free but inexpensive. I will uninstall ToneLib.

    • @Busiless
      @Busiless  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Thanks for the info. I'll keep digging for more VST's. Yes the tonelib is relatively cheap and so the sounds could indeed be a bit more powerful. I reverted back to the Bias FX every time I'm recording. All the best Bro 🤘😎

      I have most of the guitar amp plugins & this is getting there & hopefully will be there someday if they continue the good work.Too many plugins these days & some of them get discontinued so I decided to invest on hardware like Axe FX which can stay for a while even if things in the computer world changes or seizes to exist!
