Another fantastic instrument 😊 It doesn't help me for you to upload these builds when I have so many ideas for instruments and no time to make them 😂 Blessings 😊 ॐ
Nice job. Most factory lapsteels use aluminum for the bridge and nut. All my pedal steel guitars use aluminum. Also a proper tone bar with some weight and string height needs to be higher. I like your imagination and use of basic materials to fabricate the parts.
may I ask a question, I've been planning to do one and I'm at the point where I have to measure the frets but the measurements are very precise, like, less than a mm so how do you measure your fret positions with just a common ruler?? am I missing something?
@@ScrapwoodCity yeah but even rounding up you get accurate scales or do you just play kinda out of tune, for example, would you be able to play with a pianist in a specific key?
One of the better builds that I've watched in a long, long time...so creative...I really like this one, Dimitris!
Thank you very much my friend
What a joy to watch! Keep coming up with these instruments!
Thanks man!
That's wonderful mate, one of your best ever. The soldering bits are really interesting to watch. Thanks Dimitris, great job!
Thanks Mark

I call it the Lap Steel Swoarditar.
If the nut and bridge are brass, then that thing must have great sustain. I really like how unique this guitar is!

@@ScrapwoodCity you didn't answer the question

I round over the measurements. For example 5,7 becomes 6 and 5.2 becomes 5. I can’t have better accuracy in my shop.

It’s close enough. Yes you can.
@@ScrapwoodCity you really do make it look easy enough so an amateur like me can give it a shot, love your channel m8
