Hi Retrophones & Stuff, I bought myself a Nokia N95 8GB (Black) but some buttons didn't work because of dust and debris. The next day I've dedicated some time to clean my new crown jewel thoroughly. I firstly cleaned the phone itself and then I brushed some debris away between the buttons. Then I inspected the phone further and I saw that between the phone and the faceplate there is a lot of debris too. What I did next is take the phone apart and then clean the nameplate, the display and the display windows thoroughly with some brushed and a blunt needle (Similar to a toothpick). Then I removed the board of the front buttons from the phone and I brushed all the dust away underneath it. Then I glued everything together with B-7000 glue. I noticed then that the board of the buttons. the rest of the phone needed to be glued too so I glued that too on each other and then finally assembled everything together. Lastly I turned on the phone and tested everything and behold, everything works again and that means my awesome black Nokia N95 8GB is restored in it's former glory. Now I can reap the fruits of my hard work, finally after many years of waiting enjoy my awesome crown jewel and most importantly my dream phone! Thanks for your valuable video lastly! It helped me when cleaning the phone thoroughly.
Oh man.. if you see mine you would cry 😂.. I need to refurbish all the phone.. I have a N95 8gb hacked so I want to play again all the N Gage games 🙂 .. thank u
I have bought this phone and with a bad cover so I bought another case and just changed the back (cuz, it’s scary to do a breakdown of a phone when you know nothing about them.)
Hello my screen is broken the phone is still on but I can't connect it to my pc to transfer old pictures and video's. Could you help me? The av out also doesn't seem to work
Saut. Am un N95 8GB care are o problema la display din ce inteleg eu. Abia l-am comandat de pe amazon si dupa a doua deschidere a inceput sa aiba acea problema. Crezi ca ma poti ajuta contracost?
Hello. The PUK lock code is written on the big card from which you unlclipped the SIM card that's inserted in the N95. If you lost that card then there is nothing you can do to save the Sim card. If it's the phone that you want to save, you can put a new Sim card in it but if it's the SIM card that you want to save then there is nothing you can do to save it. Sorry.
@@Retrophonesstuff hi thanks for this - it’s not the SIM that I want to save it’s the data on the phone but I fear that I’ve locked the phone (I’ve now put a new SIM card in it!!) Apparently I need a cable to unlock it and some special software but I don’t have that :( Any ideas?
