I have a Luxury 3 Lyriq AWD. Beautiful car, great to drive.
Unfortunately, I don't see this car doing "Very well".
#1 The XT5 is Cadillac's best seller right now. It's everything you want out of an AWD crossover and it's attractive enough to get by - until they update the interior with Lyriq's touchscreen. It's a great car and uses regular unleaded rather than premium.
#2 The XT6 is Cadillac's other best seller and has a 3rd row. For some buyers, the 3rd row is the selling point. It's a great car and uses regular unleaded rather than premium.
#3 The EVgo charging infrastructure IS TERRIBLE. Cadillac gives you two free years of EVgo charging, but here in NY, we only have 2 chargers in a 30 mile radius unless you go to NJ or further out to Long Island. I have to drive 12 miles to wait my turn to use A SINGLE CHARGER because the second one is currently broken. The Tesla chargers right next door have 8 stalls and almost no wait.
#4 Anyone buying a Lyriq MUST have a charger at home. Many people here have no houses, garages or places to charge.
The Vistiq is going to be the best seller I think. Ride shares/limos are buying Lyriqs but most of the dealers here have huge inventories of them and are trying to move them but can't.
This dealership is in Phnom Penh Cambodia - this Lyriq shown is the Chinese made version that has AWD at 525 Ft/pounds of torque (7004E) Cambodia does not have EVGO to worry about and not NACS and CCS either. This is the only version offered and is nearly the same as the DE version in the US. The battery and range is smaller than the US version. In Asian markets the 2nd row seating is the most important for the Cadillac brand. I like your channel, but this video is another Market for the Lyriq and not like the NY area of your content.
