DUDE. This turned out incredible. I honestly like the 100mm it feels more personal and engaged with the subject & story as well as the lighting. Truly grateful to be able to learn from you in real life and on this platform
I love so much your lightning breakdowns and the result of this one looks amazing. Im still puzzle with that lights to start into filmmaking, mostly interested on doing cinematic shorts and tell stories but still puzzle if I should begin with only 1 amaran 300c or perhaps a 60x + 150c/200x because of the budget available
Just watched the Neon Demon last weekend. As well as rewatching Drive and Only God Forgives. Nicolas Winding Refn has such a distinct and interesting visual style. Great lighting workout using some fun inspiration.
Hello, thank you for your great videos, I have a question, do you think that switching from an 8-bit camera like the Sony A7iii to a 10-bit camera like the Sony A7iv can improve the quality of my videos or buying more and better lights and learn how to use them , I am about to buy some gear for the studio but im I doubt what to buy
I really liked the look of the 100mm personally. That's what I like about zoom lenses, when I can't decided if I want 35mm or 50mm, I meet in the middle at like 42mm and call it quits, haha!
Thanks for the breakdown! If you don't mind, I have a question. Did the practical light on the mirror have a dimmer or shine at full power? How did it turn out so soft and not bright?
@@BradyBessette there's two really dope runway scenes - both def shot on anamorphic i believe. one early on, and then the one with the mirrors shotdeck.com/assets/images/stills/thumb/small_TA6BLICW.jpg shotdeck.com/assets/images/stills/95C3TW12.jpg
Great Video, as usual. I had a preferrence for the 100mm. It's amazing how you can change moods with your good eye. Thank you. But dude....the nails....wtf? Looks like a small girl who played with her mom stuffs. Looks dirty and childish. I don't get it. You're master of beautifying things and get those nice fingers spoiled and ruined by Emo style...why... Keep up the good work dude. 🙂

He said that he dimmed them. He kept them low so it wouldn’t give to much glow to the subjects face.
👊😝💯
bro redo the runway scene!
Which scene????
@@BradyBessette I think he means this one... th-cam.com/video/-BWQy_9QRVc/w-d-xo.html
