Thanks Susan for showing the north of Bali, which is less explored so far. The sunset there was really beautiful, beyond my expectation 😊 this place looks relatively quite and the black sand beach make it different from the southern part of Bali which have white sand beaches and many tourist visits.

I stayed in this very hotel back on Jan 2022 on the road trip back to my dad's hometown in Tabanan. Its Singaraja Hotel, previously it was Pop Hotel Singaraja. All Pop hotel has the same room concept, you can find them also in Denpasar and kuta area and also through out indonesia. Very decent hotel for a quick stop in singaraja. strategic location and right in front of the beach. Price wise its also very cheap. so can't complain much. Have a nice trip and stay safe.
btw cassava = singkong in indonesian.

In most east java areas, the crepés you had is called lekker, zoals lekker eten enz. I don’t know why, but I kinda always missed the “pasar malam” vibes and thank you for the nice episode, at least it reminds me well of nice snacks there..
