Henry Fonda's second wife, the mother of Peter and Jane, committed suicide. This was hidden with Henry refusing to talk about it with his two young children. Jane was 12, Peter was 10 when their mother died in a psychiatric hospital in 1950. The 50s presented Henry with most of his iconic roles. The kids were in boarding schools.
If you could elaborate it would be interesting. I had a feeling that Mr. Stewart was not the image he portrayed in real life…. I have read some biographies of his…..
@@davidhazard512That's horrible. It appears the arrogance of some of those actors then and in some today give them a sense of entitlement. This is why I just view them as entertainers and don't place them on a pedestal. We don't know these people, many or not most appear to be narcissistic. I guess this fame nonsense is addictive🤔?
The Natalie Wood story was substantiated by her sister, but it has never been named who it was. Her mom’s way of making Natalie stand out was to have her go and sit on actors or directors laps. The doc is really good, I think it is called Natalia. She was Russian. Which, I have to say. Before she was born her mother had a reading done by a Russian fortune teller. The fortune teller said, your daughter will be famous, but you must keep her away from water at all costs. During filming of a movie she had to walk across a bridge with rain and churning water, right when she about to step off the bridge onto safety the bridge broke. She fell into the water and her hand got caught in a portion of the bridge. She was hanging on with that for a good bit of time. They pulled her out. After the movie was done filming she was taken to the dr . Her wrist was deformed from it. In all her movies and interviews she is wearing a gold bracelet to cover it.
I have heard that these other actors on your list had bad reputations, but this is the first I have heard of KIRK DOUGLAS! And, no. 1 on your list?? Good god, who will be the next one you will drag through the mud??
Natalie's younger sister Lana Wood wrote a postmortem biography. She claims that Natalie Wood was in a disheveled condition after leaving Kirk Douglas. Lana was only 9 at the time, but Natalie eventually mentioned the incident to her.
So many think the character of the actor on screen is really what that actor is like in life. Entertainers are such phonies their egos are so over blown because of their public popularity.
I sat with Milton Berle in a breakroom at DFW airport due to his flight being delayed and the Admirals Lounge closing on time. I've written at length about the events of the evening in other comments sections but, in a nutshell, it happened to be the night Johnny Carson's last show was being televised. Yeah, he was pretty unpleasant and had no qualms about voicing his opinion of Bette Midler using very nasty terminology. I also ran into Faye Dunaway on two separate occasions and on both of them she was quite delightful, though I don't doubt these claims one bit.
@@suzy-sz3ec Do you think he got to play some of those sinister roles by being a nice person? Hollywood show business is a Dog eat Dog world. People had to fight to get to the top of the business. He may or may not have been a nice person but he was a great " Actor"
I clicked on this video to see if this was another one that mismatched photos to narration, mispronounced names and words, provided no real reasons as to why these people were evil, etc. And, yes, this is just another one of those videos. It's just under another channel name.

you should have included Jimmy Stewart.... his onscreen persona was way different than he was in real life
I heard he was a terribly evil person.

Interesting info!
There are more now than there were then. Greed, ego trips and power destroy good people.
I can’t stand Bing Crosby!
I CAN'T STAND HIM AT ALL
I lived across the street from Orson Welles and he was always very friendly to my husband and myself.
Thunderball would have been quite a different (and much worse) movie with her as Domino. Talk about a close call.
I am not surprised. Blame a lot of it on Hollywood! They ruined a lot of people.
Well Fonda was an ultra liberal. That says it all.
Evil Hollwood of the past pales in comparison to our present crop of 5th columnists.
Jerry Lewis?
Thank you for telling their stories
Thank you for watching Beth!
Imagine a women being difficult! Never....
Yeah, I remember your mom too.
😅😅
Like Jane Fonda was a good girl? I wouldn't trust her for 1 second.
i hate jane fonda to me she a stuck up witch
In so far as "Hanoi Jane", her lack of a positive strong male figure in her childhood may have put her on the path she took.
It's not a good thing to be difficult in any job.

This is not the first time I've heard such stories about Douglas.

Whew! You haven't heard the worst of Mr. Douglas; even if only a tenth is true.
