The model Y is under project juniper. Its getting its own changes.

I always thought the wooden dash was kind of stupid. I don't want a wooden car. I have white interior, so I have the shiny with thing instead of wood. I would prefer one of those carbon fiber dashes.

I agree. I think they just adapted the wood design from different IKEA like contemporary designs , which looked good a few years ago, but now , especially since they hit rud if the chrome in the outside, the wood doesn’t go well the the image of the car.
