Great to see... Nice finds with the mines, and that ropes course remnants. Wonder what it looked like back in the day. Good to see the little drone being put to work 👍👍
I think I found some info on the ropes course. From the book "A bush experience for young migrants" A recreation program manual. "Stringybark ropes adventure course" This activity requires specialised equipment and was convened by Brisbane Forest Park's qualified ropes instructors. The ropes course is a series of challenging activities designed with rope, wire, cable and wood obstacles. It is intended to increase self-confidence, to increase mutual support and trust within a group, to provide fun, to improve agility, co-ordination, strength and balance, and to provide contact with the natural environment. Students require and should be at least 12 years of age in order to attempt the course in safety and to achieve the course aims. General course procedure: 1. Warm-up exercises. 2. Get to know games (including trust games) 3. Divide into groups of two for low ropes course 4. Lunch. 5. High ropes course 6. Problem solving Aust positi

What were they digging for in these ones?
@@OMY005 hey Andy, they were looking for gold. Not much found. Plenty of mines around this area.
