Considering this for the summer! Overall it seems like you would recommend, is that correct? A lot of the reviews say that you cannot make restaurant reservations - but you were able to right?
We are not there right now, but I know they have the removal equipment, and are doing their best. They have staff shortage problems, just like everyone else. Don't let that stop you from going. You can't control Mother Nature. Its all over the Caribbean
We felt very safe in the resort and area. It is a bit removed from the city aspects of Cancun which is not a bad thing. I suspect that the pick pockets etc probably prefer the crowded hotel district which they would percieve as a target rich area. Generally speaking, we find that there are no panhandlers or sketchy people just hanging about like they do in our home town of Victoria BC. If you stay away from party zones at night and walk with others I can't imagine any real threat. Traffic is calm and the police seem to be quite tuned into community needs. As far as gun violence goes, check your local news papers in the USA and Canada. No different here. Drugs use or trafficking goes with gun violence. If you want to buy drugs expect to be dealing with bad guys. We spend a lot of time in Mexico and find the people to be kind, hard working, and welcoming. Have fun and be safe out there!

@@Dreamerjbt If you go on google maps, you can find other resorts in that area. We have not stayed in any others there, so can't make a good recommendation for you. Your best bet for snorkeling is to go on a tour . Puerto Morelos, Akumal, or Cozumel are all great for snorkling
We booked our trip through Book VIP , which is a company that sells off rooms at timeshare resorts. So you do have to do a timeshare presentation, but just keep saying NO. The room and all inclusive fee were a package deal. It also included the taxi to the resort. We paid approx $700 for 3 nights, 4 days. That was 2022 Thanks for watching

Hi Adrian. the company we booked the trip from included the transportation to the resort. I would book a shuttle. Try cancunairporttransportations.com A taxi would be cost more than the shuttle.
HI, we ate all meals at the resort except for 1 day when we went to Isla Mujeres. There is a gas station with a small store on the corner, but not much else around there. Thanks for watching!
I’ve traveled to Cancun many times.I’m reviewing this resort for October for 7 days. I red a response about a presentation. Is it part of packaging . I’m strictly booking a all inclusive as I do for all trips. And not into presentations.
Hi Paul we booked with VIP Travel. They sell off rooms cheap but you have to do a presentation.. You may not be required to do that if you book directly with the resort or through a different provider. Its a beautiful resort, you'll love it!

yes i would recommend this resort. We were able to make reservations every day, no problem at all.

Are the waters clear enough right in front of the resort to snorkel in?
The water is clear but it is sandy so If its rough at all, its tough to see anything. Good news is it's sandy :)

This place was quiet at night and you would have to cab it to find club entertainment. The place seems to be a time share focused place.
