😂 it just really takes practice and time. My cornrow braids were awful for years. The good thing about this hair is that it is light, so even "so so" cornrows should hold this crochet hair. I do not know if I will be able to make a video because my hair is in individual twists right now, but I simply start a regular braid near my roots, then once I've completed a few rotations, I just grab another piece of hair, compete a few rotations, then grab another piece of hair, and keep going. Starting with a regular braid first is what really helped me improve my braiding. I hope that helps.

Love it! I just got a pixie cut, and now since quarantine I've been trying to do my own hair so right now I have Crochet locs and my sides and the back of my hair still has the pixie cut. Any suggestions on new styles like what you posted? And how do you add hair for the crochet base? The cornrows?
Hi and thank you! I actually had a similar scenario I dealt with when I grew out the pixie cut that I showed in the beginning of the video. I actually used a braided crochet wig cap and sewed the crochet hair onto the cap, then I braided my hair around the perimeter of my head and I sewed the cap around the perimeter of my head. I also used the invisible knot method around the hairline so that it could be as natural as possible...it took me a while to learn how to braid with braiding hair. I will see if I can find a good video and I'll post the link below when I do.

Hi! Thank you! I sleep with a satin bonnet. In the morning I just fluff the hair and go. You may also want to lay down your edges with gel.
When I first started wearing this hair I thought the curls wouldn't last. I first wore it on vacation to Atlanta, and I was surprised at how well it held up, even when I got caught in the rain (it looks great wet).
I'm also actually finishing up a video about how I maintain the style from week to week and I'll be uploading that this weekend. 😊

Thank you! I used a satin bonnet at night and I scrunched Motions Wrap Foam in the hair in the morning to freshen it up.
Do you think if taken care of it could last 6-8 weeks?
I personally would not go past 6 weeks so that you could take care of your hair underneath the crochet. In addition to washing the hair with Luke warm water, you should cut the frizz away every couple of days and you can also add a few pieces of new crochet hair on top to refresh the hair, if you want.
Your hair look very nice. Is this hair low maintenance? How long do you keep it in?
Thank you! I usually wear this hair about 4 weeks before taking it out. Yes it is low maintenance. I make sure to sleep with a hair bonnet and I cut the frizz away every couple of days to maintain the look.
Did you put any oil or mousse on this hair? I just did this style a couple hours ago & need to know what's best to use to keep it from looking dry.
Hi! Just a little Motions Hair Wrap should work. It will help to tame any frizzy hair but the hair will still be bouncy. I don't recommend using oil on this synthetic crochet hair because it will really weight it down.

You use this for beach ware and pull up in the back. How long do you keep in?
I haven’t wore my hair like this in some years. But 4 weeks would be a good length of time to leave them in. Yes you can wear it to the beach and you can wash the hair, but it won’t look as fresh and it won’t be as fluffy.
Is the the same or similar to wand curls

Hi! This hair only comes in one length that I know of and it is around 8 inches. There are some brands that have wand curl hair in a shorter length, you may want to look around if 8 inches is too long. And you would need two packages of the hair.
