Man Dustin isn’t appreciated enough in the business, he’s one of the VERY few people at his age that can still go out any night and put on an absolute classic. I’ve always loved his emphasis on storytelling.
I really wish he could get a championship run, as just a Shit kicking cowboy…last run of an old gunslinger…he could be everything Adam Page isn’t. Promos, work, selling dude could tell stories in the ring your not seeing in wrestling. If they put Dustin, hangman and brought in cowboy James storm as a faction….Jesus.

I hadn’t watched wrestling in 15-20 years, I just low key started listening to wrestling podcast and that match brought me back, it’s been a bit disappointing watching AEW lately, but I’m trying to keep watching but they are making it hard.

My first exposer to goldust was his tag team run with booker T, that was comedy gold, he's truly a legend and doesn't get enough credit. He deserved to been wwe champion one time atleast back than. Now being himself in AEW I'm amazed he can still go at his age.

He had one of the best theme songs and entrances as well as in ring performances I was always tuned in if Goldust was performing and even now on AEW I’m a big fan of his work

What an extraordinary family... this interview could be so emotional more than already has been, that I dunno if i'd be able to listen to it all and watch it all. As someone who, like me, has worked alongside his own father since I was 16 and was someway inspired by him and even considering all the argues, the fights and the son-father relationship we have today... when it comes to pro Wrestler with a linage like the Rhodes, the Hart {despite I wasn't pa fan and I wasn't electrified by them in the way the Rhodes did} and the Anoa'i, the Orton... I cannot not be emotional and the way Dusty, Cody and Dustin do move me is something too hard to well explain!
I don't think we realize today what that match between Cody and Dustin meant...when it's all said and done, I think it'll be recognized up there with Savage/Steamboat.

I hope if you ever leave AEW, Maybe Vince would give us Cody v Dustin 2 at a Mania or even a Summerslam.

You can tell Dustin didn't want him to go to WWE and he thought it wasn't the right decision. I'm not trying to start a AEWvsWWE war here in the comments but if you really look at it Cody really did turn his back on everyone in AEW and hurt alot of people when he left. Tony Khan turned his back on Cody. He's running AEW into the ground and Cody wanted no part of it. I watched this man as a child, when he made his debut and 23 years later, dude is still fighting! Living legend!
I know in the interview he said 23 years, but he actually debuted as Goldust in 1995, 27 years ago.
