Wearing it on the inside is better in almost every way. It's more hidden for starters. It's easier to stab the neck with it under your wrist rather than over it. Having it over wastes so much of the blade since it has to go past your fist which is bigger whereas for the opposite you flick your hand back to use more of the blade. Then you'd have more issue deploying the blade over the wrist, if it's a wrist flick that greatly increases the risk of breaking your wrist if you try to punch like that and the blade would have to be longer to get more than 4 inches past your fist in general and even longer than that if you want to deflect swords and use it in combat which at that point you might as well get a proper push blade.
@pantherxdoesit3425 Oh, so is it something they talk about? I haven't gotten to Valhalla yet (still getting through Odyssey). Of their's an explanation, ignore my previous comment
Seriously, why has to be there a right and a wrong variant? Also an ourwards worn Hidden Blade can be perfectly hidden if you conceal it well enough. At the end of the day most Hidden Blades are visible anyways, even the inside "right" variant can be easy to spot if you're a Templar knowing what to look for. My problem with this video is that you try to give the one and only answer but that's just simply not possible. Not every user of a Hidden Blade uses it the same way. There are different fighting styles, different ways to approach a mission, different personal requirements and preferences... For every situation the right tool, for every assassin the right Hidden Blade design. If concealed enough a Hidden Blade beeing worn outside may work just as fine as the inside variant, it may even help the user in their personal style of fighting. In truth all advantages and disadavantages of a certain design are bound to the user. Like Eivor, she's not a Hidden One, she's a warrior, with her culture and philsophy in mind it perfectly makes sense to wear the Hidden Blade the way she does, transforming it into something of a fighting blade, I suppose she would feel uncomfortable wearing it on the inside. And then take someone like Ezio. He was an Assassin, striking from the shadows instead of constantly engaging in open combat. For him wearing the blade on the inside was the only logical choice, exacrly because of the arguments you mentioned. It's just the best way for most Assassin's for obvious reasons. But that doesn't make the original wrong. There is not definite answer to this debate. There is no definite right or wrong way to wear the Hidden Blade. Wear it the way you want. Wear it the way that matches your style. I have to say, personally I'd wear it on the inside, for, again, obvious reasons. But if someone wanted to wear it on the outside I'd be like " Sure, why not?"
People saying it should be on the inside cos it’s called the “hidden blade”, well the blade is always hidden when it’s not in use lol regardless of which way it’s on the arm
Having the blade on the inside makes a lot more sense to me as it actually hides the blade a bit and you can use more of an open palm strike which is obviously a lot more inconspicuous than a regular punch. Besides that, who is going to notice a missing ring finger (which is easy to hide) unless they're actively looking for it? Makes no sense to me to have the blade on the outside
its supposed to go under the wrist because the blade is suppsed to cut the neck an you can not do that when from behind using the blade outsind, heck even basim said it at the start of valhalla
I agree fully on this, inside the wrist is better and more hidden, only thing i would want to know is do the Hidden Blades have to be on the left arm or can it be on the right?
How did you do it in that short of time. I heard that it's around 150 hours of content. That's playing almost 12 and a half hours a day. Respect to you, even though I dislike the game
I feelike its better to have it on the outside, you can always conceal it in a matter of ways, i feel like it would be more effective to assassinate in a punching motion instaed of a pushing motion
But Leonardo was not the first one who made a modified Hidden Blade. Assassins like Giovanni Auditore already used them long before Leonardo first got to see a codex page. Altaïr already had a second Hidden Blade on his right forearm without removing a finger and he already used at least the gun upgrade. I don't want to say Leonardo's work is not awesome, don't get me wrong. And another thing: Eivor (it's more pronounced like Äiwor instead of Aiwor") is female in canon ;)
inside the wrist for with the update. though for the first blade was incredible. second outside would be better for eivor with the first blades thicker blade. final for me give me both options. inside for the shadow tasks. outside thicker blade for when I need a perhaps 1 or 2 time surprise attack in fight.
You would puncture the sides of your hand, because they protrude much further than your fingers and knuckles do, and making the mechanism/gaunlet wider or larger to fix this would eliminate the "hidden" distinction
The blade, if worn outside, wouldn last 10 mins in a combat situation!! The moment someone swings their sword and Eivor deflects with his bracers, the blade would be damaged and unusable!!!

its supposed to go under the wrist because the blade is suppsed to cut the neck an you can not do that when from behind using the blade outsind, heck even basim said it at the start of valhalla
Fun fact wolverine can pop his claws out his open palms like assassin's blades idk that myself till I seen a video on it ages ago
I didn't know*
I agree fully on this, inside the wrist is better and more hidden, only thing i would want to know is do the Hidden Blades have to be on the left arm or can it be on the right?
Either or, based on the double blade design from AC 2 onward. Probably those with one blade used their dominant hand.
I mean Darius wore it on the outside. So I think the wearer decides based on the circumstances and their environment
I love ac odyssey I completed 100% I mean 100% everything except the crossover in 12 n a half days so yes but it's called a hidden blade so inside
Oh and we can only assume cleo found it because dareus moved to Egypt at the end of legacy of the first blade ep 3
Ikr!!?? I cant believe ppl r still arguing about this 😅😅
100%?? Damn bro, thats crazy tbh 😅😅
How did you do it in that short of time. I heard that it's around 150 hours of content. That's playing almost 12 and a half hours a day. Respect to you, even though I dislike the game
@@QuatarTarandir 1 sec testing
I feelike its better to have it on the outside, you can always conceal it in a matter of ways, i feel like it would be more effective to assassinate in a punching motion instaed of a pushing motion
Imagine high fivin someone but you stab them instead
Wear it outside with2, 3, and syndicate gadgets and you are basically Ye ol’ Jango Fett
My own design ArisImpression is only for the inside of the wrist.
Eivor isn’t in the hidden ones, but outside blade looks cool as shit.
Why they call it “hidden blade” and it’s not hidden 😂
Just wear it in a way that doesnt hurt the target AND you
Wearing it in the outside is stupid bc your fist would stop the blade from driving deep into the target
And another thing: Eivor (it's more pronounced like Äiwor instead of Aiwor") is female in canon ;)
wearing it inside orr outside both have risks to cut yourself but imo inside is cooler and more hidden of course
Inside >>> outside
Absolutely
inside the wrist for with the update. though for the first blade was incredible. second outside would be better for eivor with the first blades thicker blade. final for me give me both options. inside for the shadow tasks. outside thicker blade for when I need a perhaps 1 or 2 time surprise attack in fight.
Inside obvi. Its a HIDDEN blade. Damn hard to hide something on top of your arm
My idea actually matched with the assassins
Imo
Under arm for stealth, quick kills, etc
Outside for combat acting like dual wielding, faster than just drawinf a dagger, etc
I'm subscribed.
It is a “hidden blade” it is more hidden on the inside so it is better.
This argument is dumb, Eivor isnt an assassin. And if the order had the cult like sacrifice finger then sure sweet do that when you become one.
Hey but what about sideway?😂
NGL, thats actually a great idea 😁✌
You would puncture the sides of your hand, because they protrude much further than your fingers and knuckles do, and making the mechanism/gaunlet wider or larger to fix this would eliminate the "hidden" distinction
It should be inside.
HE CAME BACK!!!!
Comin back every friday now bro 😅✌ And u r ABSOLUTELY on point ✌
@@VZXAssassin love you man
On the forehead for epic headbutt action!😂
It would be kinda obvious to see someone punch someone next to me not very inconspicuous
Does not matter....it still gets the job done......
It should be worn inside so people won't notice it.
Panther in the final saga evior became 1 so your argument is invalid also I has a spoon
inside is better no contest
waassuupp!!!!
Brother!!! 😁✌
Inside, origins/odyssey/valhalla/mirage shouldn’t exist
Wolverine is Ggggg@@@@Y Deadpool proved it. Inny till I die.
Yall just mad cause Eivor is cooler than any cult nerd 😂 doesnt care does it wrong could beat literally ANYONE 😂
the hidden blade is inside for stealth outside for berserk/stealth/combo kills
The blade, if worn outside, wouldn last 10 mins in a combat situation!! The moment someone swings their sword and Eivor deflects with his bracers, the blade would be damaged and unusable!!!
Hidden blade
Keyword HIDDEN
Sup vzx n left wrist
In side
Ssup my brother 😁😁🤜🏻🤛🏻
10 points to Mr Xander 😁😁
@@VZXAssassin it's the right way only sad ac mirage will. Only have 1 blade ac red souls have 2 because it's set in mogals invasion which was in the 1300s and altar died at 81 or so and he was around in the the early 12th century or logical century 11th but 11 hundreds
I med a top blade hidden under the arm-armor and it's looking like it's not a hidden blade until you use it and its too late like all the under blades and I have made a upper+lower one and its kan use both so my idea is to make new ideas for it and use it in real life and take the pink-finger-creed of my war to take down (the order of evil)
amazing how a guy that CLEARLY doesnt study history has so much to say about Cleopatra beign black against people who study history and EVIDENCE about it. purely GENIUS
The wrist blade wasn't meant to be used for stealth
Ya, but this isn't about the wrist blade, this is about the hidden blade. Whatever Darius wanted it for, it's now something different. Also, didn't Darius use it for stealth? He did in the clip (I haven't played the DLC so I don't know for sure)
If thats the case, there's little difference between a dagger and the wristblade!!
@Quatartarandir He did use it for stealth!!!
@@VZXAssassin Ya, if he did, well, that completely negates the discussion
@@QuatarTarandir Yup!!!
