Kenyans formed political parties as early as 1944 (KAU) to advocate for the rights of oppressed Africans. We fought for independence, but the transition of power was conducted in a civil manner hence our peace and stability for over 60 years. What we are trying to achieve now is chaotic and we'll soon end up like some of our unfortunate neighbors. Good intentions and patriotism are not enough to run an economy. In Argentina, no one wants to be president because the economy is in shambles and no one knows how to revive it. We need a structure in place. I listened to the interview and those who are clapping and thinking this Gen Zs are heading somewhere should be making a big joke of themselves. The interviewer was so confused because she was trying to ask questions that would help them take a moment and visualize what they are trying to say, but their obsession with Ruto must go couldn't allow them a single second of making sense of their hysteria. So, they are using big Jargons to appear smart and at the same time webbing themselves!! How do you say that we have no constitutional government, we went through elections and KK won the elections, regardless of how thin the win was. How do you sit on a television being watched not just national, but internationally, to tell us that the entire government must go and you will figure out what happens next? How do you stand or sit in front of the cameras to tell us that after the entire government is out, we won't need to do elections and power belongs to people? That we will consolidate power from grassroots, then what? A government isn't a club!!These guys are holding the current government accountable based on our constitution, but they are ready and willing to violate the same constitution; because power belongs to the people! How damn this guys sound?!😊. This is the most ignorant young people I have heard on a Tv show, yet appearing to be smart. They are saying that the president and deputy president have hijacked the parliament!😊 Why did you elect a Mp who can be hijacked? They sounds so knowledgeable but have no idea they can recall their members of parliament who have been allegedly bought. By the way Kenya isn't comprised of Gen Zs alone, who gave the Gen Zs the Supreme authority to make decisions on behalf of everyone? Who told them when the constitution say power belongs to the people it meant Gen Zs? If the country will be dictated by these youth men and women who seems to have a voice of no reason, the country will dip in away coming up again will be a very stiff hill to climb. I Support holding the government accountable for good governance, I DO NOT SUPPORT VOICES OF ANARCHY.

In the 1997 situation IPPG was not set in the then constitution. Neither was the coalition government in 2008. We celebrate when known drug dealers and murderers became most and senators. We liked the flashy lifestyles of our entertainers and politicians and so when the young people don't espouse to this we wanna tell them to take the chill pill.

I blame Gen x for failing our country.
Those born during the struggle for independence surely should not be still fighting. It is we who have are the 2nd borns of Kenya who ought to take charge. One the person who was given responsibility to govern has fallen short of the constitutional expectations, before and after the protests hence the call for him to leave with his team. The second problem they realise that it is a systemic issue. Even if the current president goes the institutions and systems of corruption will remain unless they are completely transformed. Therefore, an election wont solve the entire problem. The rot is deep.
