Found you on the YT spotlight, fantastic first video for the playlist and certainly well produced even 2 years ago. I dabbled a little with card magic when I was younger, but, you know, I'm feeling I might need to pick up a deck, and I'll absolutely check out some of your tutorials!

I'm also a-okay with doing magic if someone asks, but I can get why that's really offensive since some people are doing insane cardistry moves and then people just hit them with the "CaN yOu Do MaGiC?" and that can really be annoying. But I feel like Cardistry itself is getting more exposure (though they still need to add it to the dictionary) with the Microsoft ad and the recent Fortnite emote, so hopefully, more people will know more and be more interested in it! But it's also like soccer (futbol) freestyling- those guys have insane technical skills, but they don't play actual soccer even though they use the soccer ball! And even though professional players sometimes do freestyling skills, that doesn't mean freestyles can play actual soccer and it's really annoying too when people expect that of them.

When I see this, I think what a waste of time to learn something that really offers no benefit. Spend the same amount of time on learning a transferable skill such as learning a language or study a new subject or even spend time doing voluntary work. Life is short. Put the cards down and spend the time doing something worthwhile.

If I'm willing to practice for 2 hours a day how long it takes to learn like God level skills
I mean it depends on you and your definition of God level skills, but you could probably learn a decent amount in a year.
Nothing too crazy, but it’d be a good start
I think the definition of “god level” in cardistry does not depend on what u have learned and mastered but what u have created, so i think the best way of mastering cardistry is learning the basics and create ur own moves. Welp, that is just my personal thoughts.
