It’s really a privilege they say when you are old you’re done you’ve done every thing you are old and ready to die on that’s what my great grandfather said at age 99 Just Two things he could all do go to age 100 And Die Just One.
I know what she means. It is a privilege I wish to cross someday as well. I'm 26 years old, but I don't fear dying. I look forward to the sweet release someday. But until then, I'll live my life earning that eternal rest
I forgot how emotionally powerful these little videos are. The legacy of a random stranger, their memory preserved to impact the lives of countless others through their family and loved ones
FIVE Story Corps ANIMATED videos in one day?? Truly a miracle. Great way to start the weekend. Beautiful story. "I just want to see the face of God." What incredible devotion.
My grandfather passed away last thursday and I'm honored to have spent the first 17 years of my life with My grandfather a father, grandfather, a hardworker and a hero Love and miss you nonno~~❤️💙
My Great Grandfather died recently wanting to be 100 years old but he was 99 and died with one thing he didn’t accomplish when he was a kid wanted to live to 100 but started regretting it because all of his family and loved ones died.
Old people must always remember, our strongest and most lasting witness is often the one we leave in our last minutes. I have witnessed, as a Hospice nurse, many old people whose last minutes on this earth totally eclipsed the lifetime of minutes, that preceded the last. This can often be THE reason those watching will make it to heaven, too. May God bless this video to help many reach out to their Bible to get answers, and learn of the amazing Savior who is waiting to greet them!
lord james 😂she killed her FAVORITE rooster when I was a baby because he attacked me! He clawed my face and to this very day I STILL have that mark above the left side of my lip. She was my GREAT grandmother, my dads grandma.i am 43 now, but I’m told I was VERY young when this happened. father or Bishop Ramirez, the story teller is my dads cousin, so he’s my relative.
Does anybody know the name of the outro track for these videos? I browsed through Joshua Abrams's spotify page but was unable to find that particular song. I definitely recommend looking up his work btw. The dude is insanely talented.
Not a very virtuous or wise take on life imo. It sure is odd, but life is a gift and if you think that their is a better life after this one then you may not live this one to the fullest.
“It is a privilege to die.”
That’s the most raw quote I’ve ever heard.
She's hardcore

I have been waiting years for Abuela Panchita's story to get animated. Thank you - that has always been one of my favorites

Im kinda suprised how low views these kind of animation stories get. Its pleasing to the eyes and ears
Buena suerte en tu vida amigo

To have a mystic as grandma.
😂
I'm not crying, my eyes are just sweaty
Panchita and Tolkien both had the deep wisdom. Its a Privilige to die
We spend all are life trying to life and not die but she was happy to die wow that is so fascinating
Wow just wow i never saw death that way
Everyone just wants to have a good death.
my grandma got that privilege today
singing till the end. Thats what I want to do.
"it is a privilege to die"
queen Elizabeth: can relate
😭 damn man.
😥😍😥
❤
It is a privilege to die when you’re older. But a travesty when you are still young and on the cusp of life....but alas.
A positive look at death.
I’m surprised this is titled “Abuela” and not “Abuelita” cause according to my mother it’s rude to call your grandma “abuela”
