Everything O said is pure facts. He definitely became ghost. He did it coming into Power as an underdog and Stars didn't give him the recognition, especially financially after he stayed dedicated to the role in so many ways. They also didn't respect his ability to adapt and elevate as both Ghost the character and Omari the actor who has the talent, and experience to direct on a major level for the series. He deserved more as an actor who is so damned talented and also, he deserved to get the opportunity to make sure Ghost had an ending that was original and great for all he went through as one of the most iconic and legendary characters on television.

I agree with a lot of what Omari said. At the same time, none of us ever fully get the credit that we deserve. Furthermore, I’m sure Omari would admit that the role of Ghost opened so many doors, doors that have benefited him professionally and more importantly financially. Focus on the positive!
I think he deserved way more recognition for that role and so does everyone involved in power and I'm sure that led him to some opportunities but just look he hasn't don't nothing really major since it ended

Omari is clearly saying the show didn’t open doors ..it’s being sold as “The Show Made Him”. Because he didn’t have any leverage before coming into it, as Jon did before The Punisher. Everyone know’s OMARI HARDWICK made that show ..Period. Great cast but Tommy portraying a “good guy” is not believable without Omari.

Omar was Ghost, well he got into it and played it awesomely. Bernthal made Punisher come alive and become believable and elevated that character. Great actors and actresses are given roles to shape and make us believe they are real and loved or hated 😉 Many actors are just eye candy for the camera, but real actors live their roles and elevated them to me.

Ghost, Walter White, Tony Soprano. The greatest character depictions in the history of cable television. Once in a while I Google search Omari just to see how many awards he's won, and in my opinion it's never the amount he truly deserves. HE IS STARZ like Jon said. All props always due 💪🏿💪🏿

Prior to Power nobody was checking for Omari to take movie roles tv roles. But we not gonna mentioned that. 50 Cent had continuously said when he first started the Poeer series he wasn't getting paid that much but he knew eventually big things will come up. Omarinwas broke bout to lose his family till 50 gave him some money and a opportunity. After him killing that Ghost character plenty of shows and movies surely was coming for him. I told my wife that the way they wrote his character the episode or two before he’s killed was designed to make him a villain outright. The way he was written totally undercut what they built with ghost over the years and it was obvious. Way to shoot yourselves in the foot!
That is what pissed me off too. They totally changed his character to fit a narrative. It was wack as hell.

Not really because even as we watch the original Power, it was always about the rise of Tariq St Patrick but focused on Ghost. Just like “Raising Kanan” is about the rise of Kanan but focused on Raq. So the natural progression of Power was for Tariq to take over. Old heads just don’t know how to let go.
