Uh, that area code is San Francisco. That's not where Jacob's bunker is. I smell SCAM. Edit: That number is DEFINITELY NOT associated with Jacob!! *BEWARE!*
it makes me happy that jacob is getting to experience intense rollercoasters and haunt attractions because he can psych himself and set his fears aside by saying “it’s for the content” 😂
I used to work at this park in entertainment. I've been in some weird places in this park. I really miss it, I quite enjoyed it. Glad you finally made it there.
I worked there many years too, and been some weird spots in there as well. There are some weird spots to hide on your shift from your supervisor and smoke cigarettes if you're a little 16 yr old delinquent too 🤣🤣🤣
Definitely lived up to the title of this video with lots of freaking out on these torture machine coasters. ;) Thanks for the tour of this classic park. The Loch Ness Monster Coaster is one of the best of all time IMO.
Thanks Jacob from us back in England. You have really cheered me up during some difficult times. I may not be able to visit the parks but you enable me to enjoy them with you. 😊
@@user-gr3yn3hc5b Just love all the detail in your narrations including the history you go into. Unfortunately a lot of our coastal resorts and rides/theme parks just aren't what they used to be. Keep up the good work you manage to convey all the 'fun of the fair' via the 'tube..
The carpetbagger grows on you. Gotta respect it.. even if he's a giant cheeseball he's a lovable guy with great content.. I think he gets a lot of unwarranted hate, he's truly one of the greatest content creators on TH-cam and it's undeniable
Jacob watching you ride roller coasters you don’t particularly enjoy is highly entertaining! Maybe consider making a compilation video of you on rides you don’t like lol.
I remember going to Busch Gardens in Florida when I was a young girl. Really enjoyed seeing Jacob riding the roller coasters! Glad he didn't lose his Croc's...LOL
Yet another really fun video Jacob. BG & KD are both parks I grew up with. I haven’t been to with in a very long time, so this was an extra treat. You seemed, as the kids say, shook by the multi launch coaster. The footage on that one while you are upside down is brilliant. Thanks Carpetbagger
Jacob, I laugh my butt off the whole time watching this video. Good job facing your fears. I love Busch Garden in Virginia. My dad lived 20 minutes from the park.
I'm so glad you finally hit my childhood/lifelong park! It's such a beautiful park and I can tell you, as someone who was a rollercoaster operator there for years, the safety standards at that park are some of the highest in the country. My first park, sweeping up trash there was my first job as a 15 yr old, and as a 40 yr old I still love that park so so so much. Glad you had a great time! Haven't made it back east since they put up Pantheon.
I want to go there so bad! Next year the trip is going to be BGW, KD, and Carowinds. This year we went the other way, and went to Holiday World again, then up to Indiana Beach, and Six Flags Great America. I'm from Ohio, so I get the normal 30 trips to Kings Island, and 50 visits to Cedar Point every year, so I can't complain TOO much. But I have got to get to BGW, and KD next year. Then maybe get to Florida for Universal, and BGT. I have cedar fair platinum passes, so KD, and Carowinds will be free entry, drinks, and food, so just room, and travel need to be paid.
I never felt like the employees there got enough appreciation, so I just wanna say thanks for helping making Busch Gardens into the wonderful and beautiful place it is! You helped make many great memories for me all throughout my childhood :)
@@Hoodwinkle Oh well thank you! It was a great place to have as my first few jobs in high school. Still love going back there when I'm on the east coast. My mom is retired from teaching but she still works part time at BG out of love for the place.
I miss the Busch Gardens in Van Nuys, California, that was around from the 1950s through 1970s. It didn’t have any roller coasters, but it had a killer log ride that went through gardens and aviaries before the big plummet. It also had a relaxing boat ride, a monorail around the park, another monorail tour of the factory, bird shows, etc., until it was all torn down in order to expand the beer factory. It would have had lots of roller coasters by now.
You're in my neck of the woods! BG was one of my first jobs as a teen a million years ago. I worked on Alpengeist which is in Germany so I had to wear the lederhosen 😂. I don't really ride coasters anymore but still love going because the park is pretty, it's super clean, and the food is good.
Oh my God this was one of your best videos ever! 🎢 Your reactions on the rollercoasters cracked me up! 😂 You're braver than me though 😅 Thanks Jacob for this very enjoyable video and best wishes ☀️
This was THE BEST!!! 🤣 This made my day. The screaming on the roller coasters was Awesome 😁. Jacob you make these videos so much fun to watch. Thank you for taking us along on this exciting adventure. 💕
Thanks for riding the coasters was funny to watch you scream you have a funny way of laughing and screaming at the same time love it brother keep up the good work brother.
Very nice visit with every emotion between fear and relief again. Filmed very well too. i looked up on the Verbolten ride. It is described extensively on Wikipedia, with "verbolten" a, to me still unclear alternative to "verboten", which translates as "forbidden". Also, they say that the indoor section has three variations, and different rides will go through different alternative indoor tracks. Thanks Jacob, and compliments to you. i would have skipped on most of those coasters!
I live in VA so I've been to Busch Gardens many times. It broke my heart that they closed down Dark Castle, you would have loved it. It was said to be one of the best dark rides. Rumor is they couldn't update it as the technology was outdated. Shocked you didn't ride Loch Ness. That's a great classic.
same here! i live in VA and been to busch gardens too.. we even bought memberships again! and same i miss dark castle but like one of the responses say they're building a rollercoaster in there instead which honestly isn't a bad idea.. we can never have too many rollercoasters! :D
Jacob i am so glad you concord your fear of roller coasters and thank you for taking us for the ride with you . I love u buddy and have fun and be safe.
Also just a note on the German castle, it was in fact a dark ride, it was called Curse of Darkastle and it was a dark ride about a German person who freezes you in time and you’re one of the guests at his party and you try to escape before he freezes you
I loved seeing Busch Gardens. I've never been there. It's a beautiful place. Loved the wooden Roller coaster. You are so much fun to be with, especially in an amusement park.
Jacob, you make me laugh with your rollercoaster sacrifices🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks buddy; I can't do it anymore because of my "bad back", but YOU are SUPER entertaining and fervent.
JACOB!!! I am so proud of you my guy!!!! I've been this park just as recently as July and the first coaster you got on I said I would NEVER do and you out here showing me up!!!! That was amazing. I never seen the car rollercoaster before. Next time I go, I'll have to look for it.
Well, brave is being scared, but doing the thing anyway. You fit the bill Jacob. I’d ride the Verbolten for sure, but not the new fangled dangle coasters. This was fun to watch.
It's been a few years since I've been to Wiiliamsburg, but I mostly remember the nice shows and 3D attractions that they had there. Also, the park is really beautiful.
The dark ride that you mentioned was called 'Curse of DarKastle'. It was very similar to Spiderman and Transformers at Universal. A rollercoaster is now being installed inside the building, and from what a few employees have told me, it will feature the DarKastle theme. I have a feeling they'll make an official announcement in a month or so.
Fun Fact: Verbolten (a play on word of the German word for Forbidden) has three story lines. Storm; where you get chased into the forbidden forest by a storm, Wolves; you purposefully go into the woods and promptly get chase by a pack of wolves, and lastly (the one he got) Spirit; where a fallen tree forces you into the forest and you get chased by the angry forest spirit. Thou you don’t get the full tale during the storyline ride. Only after the ride and in the Verbolten gift shop, you can view the whole story with your ride photo inserted into it. You can buy a copy of it, if you so choose.
