🎒👜 72 KITS (BUG OUT BAGS) FOR BIG FAMILIES

We have used our Bug Out Bags / 72 kits before during Tsunami warnings in Hawaii. These are BASIC items that we fill the kids bags with. We like to be prepared for Emergencies.

INSIDE OUR 72 KITS / BUG OUT BAGS:
CLOTHES - Warm Clothes: Pants, Long Sleeved shirts, Jacket, Undies, Socks, Beanie/Hat
FOOD - 3600 calories (total for 3 days), We use Pop top cans & secure in ziplocs. If using canned foods, pack can opener. These are also great items to pack: granola bars (high protein), freeze-dried meals, jerky, trail mix, cereals, powdered soups, etc.
*Mess Kit - plastic plate, cup & utensils
FIRST AID SUPPLIES - bandages, ointments, surgical masks, lip balm, sun/insect repellent, etc.
OTHER EMERGENCY SUPPLIES: Poncho, Emergency Blanket, Whistle, compass, Hand/Food Warmers, Matches, Candle, lightsticks, batteries.
TOILETRIES: alcohol wipes, hand sanitizer, TP, tissue, gloves, small wash cloth, toothbrush, paste, feminine supplies, soap, etc.
TOOLS: mini sew kit, duct tape, gloves, shovel, goggles, rope, garbage bag, tube tent shelter, etc.
PUT items in a LABELED BAG. EASY to GRAB in an emergency. We keep these bags in a BIG BLUE TUB in the garage.
We also keep extra emergency essentials in our food storage room. If we are stuck inside our home we have stored up extra food, water & supplies.
