1: "For those who do not understand, the girl here is one of the victims of the Sewol Ferry disaster. The ferry sank for some reason (google it) so that explains why towards the end of the video she was wearing a life vest and there was sound of water and she unfortunately, didn't survive.. Yesterday (16th April) was the anniversary of the Sewol Ferry disaster, so this video is kind of like a tribute to it. It's very heart-breaking." - Commentary by 'Gillian Chu'

Julie Ward Apparently there was a parent who died recently. We don't know if it's because he or she couldn't live without their child, but the parents who lost their children live in constant pain and agony.

Oh dear. Ive seen transformation drawings like this before but i was already wondering why it had sad music... my suspicion kept growing and then when you started drawing the life jacket I burst out in tears. Im crying my eyes out right now. That was beautifully drawn. The sewol accident should have never happened. RIP

The current administration denies any investigation, when the Congress passed related laws, it attached ridiculous presidential decree which circumvents responsibility. The families of the dead had to put liquid tear gas on their face at the very one-year anniversary of the disaster.

April 16, 2014, cruise ships that Korean "sewolho" was sinking. In its belly, and have 300 or more people, the majority of them, there was a male and female high school students that made the school trip. While the whole nation watched on TV live broadcast, the ship was sunk in the deep sea. Still to Iro and broadcast on the spot without moving the in the ship came out, our children, wearing a life jacket as the broadcast say, waiting for me to come to help adults had. However, did anyone does not come. Captain and sailors at that time, was escapes aboard the maritime police ship that had been waiting for. While all of the people of South Korea watched, so our children, went off and into the cold sea.
It does not have sufficient explanation that the government in the child's parents and the public that it was believed that would of course structure is successful why not seek children.
At that time, the government there was a suspicion that there was something illegal in the presidential election.
To the people to make a yellow ribbon in the sense that hope that come home safely after that date, it was an effort to not forget this incident.
Anyway, time becomes a flow one year, there is nothing that has changed so far.

AquaSushiX3 Nobody could think that we can't save them... cause we saw the sinking boat when it tilted about 20 degree and some ships had came there already. So we think that can't be some big issue at that time...
AquaSushiX3 you're right. When the ferry began to sink, the captain and sailors gave orders to passengers to stay in their room and to put life jest on. This order was actually an order of death because if the water enter the room, people inside would be trap in and they wouldn't be able to escape.
After that the rescue team came and the first and almost the only people who were rescued were the captain and the sailors.
***** You just can't expect everyone to speak perfect English. Geez. If you are familiar about the Sewol ferry incident that happened last year then you would know what she was talking about.

'아..부모님들이 이런 해맑게 웃는 자식얼굴을 보시면서 키우시는구나' 하고 생각했는데.. 마지막부분에서 위와 같은 생각과 감정으로 보던것과 시간들이 한순간에 폭탄처럼 터지는느낌이였습니다
마지막 블루스크린까지 정말인상깊은 영상이였습니다.

the first time i heard the ferry news, i thought in my head, 'if only i was there...' not to think that i could save much but at least try to do something anything. while there sinking, were/im here watching them thru the tv sitting here in my home with my family...R.I.P
i didn't even notice that this was about it. i just watched it cause its drawing and i was like oh cute baby and then i started noticing its getting older and older until u put the life vest on...*bawlseyesout*

I'm from the other side of the world, mourning you in silence. I just wonder how great your lives would have been. I'm not a koreaboo, but I would love to visit it, just to share my respects.
