Hey, I know this is a first video, so I don't want to discourage you, but I had a few thoughts looking at this. First of all, I am absolutely in love with the idea of criticising rule books. As a designer I would love to figure out how to be better at writing them, as a player I want them to make my experience of learning a game smoother. I also fully agree that the industry as a whole, and historical games in particular, are NOT GOOD at writing rulebooks. That being said, there is some irony in making a one hour long unstructured video to complain about rulebook's structure. I sincerely believe that if you want your message to be more impactful you would benefit from making videos that are structured and making a clear point. Looking forward to watch more.
I appreciate that you stopped by to say hello. I also appreciate that basically no one will watch the ERIA series. If I edit this down into short, to-the-point criticisms of each rulebook, then that adds editing time to videos that people won't watch anyway. There's not a big audience for complaints about specific issues with specific rulebooks. I'm going to spend more time editing the How to Play video that follows each ERIA video, because I think that's what people actually want to see. If I can devote enough time to this channel, then I'm going to keep recording ERIA videos with each new rulebook that I read, so I have a record of my own thoughts and I get some practice with recording in OBS. But I have no delusions that this series will be popular at all~

You must be fun at parties.
Since I spent the past few nights prepping a how-to-play script on SETI instead of socializing, I'm gonna go with "exceptionally not"
