The country of Jordan is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Just the history itself is a reason to visit. You will find the most welcoming lovely people there as well. It’s so nice to see females in professional roles from Jordan. Even 10 years ago that wasn’t possible for most women there.
@@davidmariotti1 if you listen to the tower when he cleared them to land, he said the wind is 220 at 11 knots. Considering they're landing on runway 27 it's a slight crosswind from the left, but 11 knots is totally normal, it's not that strong.
i just searched for Royal Jordanian Heathrow because i wanted to rewatch the old video you guys filmed with RJ, and i was pleasantly surprised I got this new video from 1 day ago XD
14:48 (just before coming to a stop at the gate) the captain makes a noise that seems to be expressing disappointment at seeing an flashing red arrow indicating that the plane is slightly off the desired center line. It's a harmless minor deviation but it's understandable that any pilot maneuvering a plane will want to do a perfect job.
I used to Fly in the Caribbean, Dominican Republic 🇩🇴, C-46 cargo back in the 80s and I remember the National Airline , DOMINICANA de Aviacion , they used to have a 727 that was bought from Royal Jordanian airlines, beautiful 727 black with gold stripes and a big crown 👑 in the Rudder . Nice 👍 memories
Heathrow changes runways 14.00 utc if the landing in a westerly direction, but they don't when landing in an easterly direction due to a historic Cranford agreement
Is that really the EGPWS alerting on every approach? It's not hard to technically suppress that alert when on glideslope and configured for landing. What's the value in having it fire a false alarm on every flight?
the 2nd pilot seems like he so wants to grab the wheel for landing having to place hands as they do when your 2nd control and land that way must be tough training
Altimeters, variometers and anemometers are fairly old instruments that haven't evolved much. For example, the anemometer as we know it was invented in 1911.
VASI/PAPI will keep you on the visual glideslope, and the altimeter will tell you how high above touchdown, and there's a linear relationship between that and distance to touchdown.
Se debe haber querido matar la mina, justo cuando la estaban filmando no tuvo el mejor de los aterrizajes, y hasta le salió natural hacer una interjeccion cuando tocó primero con las ruedas delanteras.
Flight plans set flight review check alternate plans reviewed let’s get going let’s not forget the towers made aware of what happening as we prepare to depart. Everything being as described the planes fueled tires are inflated and passengers are fastened in their seats. Weather is clear and path unobstructed kick the tires and let’s get out of here. Great video I’m sold sign me up for flight school.
Jordan’s King has a British mother and he went to military school in England and also attended Oxford University. He also spent some time serving in the British army. The Crown Prince also attended the same military school and studied in the US. The family have a more moderate understanding of Islam and Queen Rania has pushed for more rights for women. This is why Jordan is more progressive than other countries in the region.

An amazing team work between the captain and the first officer
She is incredibly great calm
Even though she put the nose down too hard.
I just came back from Amman /Jordan to Chicago O'Hare sept. 25th through Royal Jordanian , it was one of the best flights since 1986
I noticed the Captain has an Embry-Riddle ID badge lanyard. I'm an ERAU grad, '83, and am very proud of this woman!
I believe she’s one of the first woman pilot in Jordan.
Beautiful procedure for landing
Great, thank you
Love the Embry Riddle Neck Lanyard Captain! Forever Eagle!!!

i wanna fly the dreamliner someday 🙏
Lovely 🥰
Late clearance !! nice video.
beautiful 😍😍
Are those small drop down screens a HUD which shows the desired landing line to the runway?
Saludos cordiales desde Costa Rica Miguel Zarate gracias felicitaciones por el mensaje
Fantastic 👍👍
The front landing gear seemed to touch down a little early and hard.
Now is that an automatic or a 5 speed lol...i love the color of her eyes
Awesome 👍

Thank you :)
Before all the newer technologies, how did pilots know their elevation and distance from touchdown?

That was a late landing clearance 😅

I like the captain, she's so pretty. Nice eyes too.
i see the captain's seat of this B787 shaking hard while landing, i guess it has to see with boeing forced to replace them...
Very Nice Lady Captain 💯💞💢💋
❤
Thanks
Love me🦸🧚
Please 🙏 go for A380 British airways please 🥺

Yes, today it is so easy to fly that even women can join
Daaamnnn😂
I would have no problem flying with these 2 pilots.
A female captain on an Arabic airline. There is still hope in this world. 👏

What pilot women are 😅😅😅
So many confirmation bias by the captain it’s annoying me.
And they say Islamic women are discriminated!
Most of them are…

Not anymore thank God! Well it’s still a problem in many countries but the Middle East is progressing very well.
Pretty good for a girl.
❤
Thanks
