  • No matter what direction you admire it from, Mount Shasta, a premiere landmark in Northern California and Southern Oregon, is an impressive sight. Massive volcanic eruptions build the snow-capped mountain over thousands of years and it still has the potential to erupt again. Standing 14,179 feet, Mount Shasta is the second tallest mountain in the Cascade Range (behind Mount Rainier) and the largest stratovolcano in the chain in terms of sheer volume. Beyond the statistics, though, Mount Shasta is a blast for hikers and winter sports enthusiasts. The camping's great, too. The next time you're driving down I-5, take a break on Mount Shasta or nearby Lake Siskiyou, which has a tremendous view of the mountain, you won't be disappointed. Larry Richardson created this 4k video using a Sony AX53 camcorder for RichardsonArtPhotographyStore.com.

    Had this random dream today about Mount Shasta erupting. I’ve never heard of this mountain before in my life

      Towards the end of the video, you can see where the caldera is. Looks like the last eruption was like Mt St Helens blowing the side out of the mountain.

    I am very lucky to live in this region. We who live in southern Oregon/extreme northern California have the most beautiful lake in the U.S. if not the world, Crater Lake; the world's most beautiful waterfall, Burney Falls, which is located between Lassen Peak and Mount Shasta; and arguably the world's most beautiful mountain, Mount Shasta. What makes Shasta the most beautiful and stunning of them all is location. It seems to have risen up out of nowhere, and it provides such a contrast to its surroundings. There is lot to be said to live in the so-called Ring of Fire region of the world. Just stunning views. The Sierra Nevada rival the Cascades in beauty. There is nothing like living in the far western U.S.

      @@belindanunez7850 I grew up going to Yosemite , sequoia, and the Sierra Nevada . Those days seems like a dream to me . I’m starting to remember the good old days of California during the early 90s to mid 90s . While living in California there was a ton of things to do . As I was growing up I never can see myself living anywhere else but California. It’s sad that 25 years later I’m living in Atlanta and always want to go back to visit but I haven’t been back yet .

    I lived in Mt. Shasta for over 2 years in 1987-1990 something like that. There was a lot of new age and demonic things happening there at the same time beautiful.

    • @apoorvatyagi570

      Demonic things like?

    • @tedbates1236
      @tedbates1236 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@apoorvatyagi570 in Mt. Shasta, people were channeling. They are told these beings they have contacted are spirit guides helping in the evolution of mankind into godhood. Those doing this do not realize they are being possessed by demons that prevent them from coming to Jesus, at least the true Jesus. They are taught that man is divine, they are God. One channeler was told to kill himself because they needed him on the other side. When he refused he went through all kinds of demonic attack. When he came to Jesus, the demons could no longer touch him. My landlord in Mt. Shasta was into this. Every year he would go to one of these cults in the Philipines and he would see deceptive miracles. The last time he went there and came back, he told people he was going to commit suicide. He was reported to the police and was taken to a mental ward to be observed for 3 days. I talked to him on the phone and asked if I could pick him up. He said no. That Halloween night, he took the bus home at midnight and shot himself. He was being oppressed by demonic spirits. There is a book that was written decades ago but you should be able to buy it used from Amazon. The book is titled, The Beautiful Side of Evil. It is an autobiography of a woman who was assistant to a Mexican woman who had great powers and would under a trance open someone's skull and take out scoops of brain matter with her hands and supposedly heal them. Her assistant who wrote the book finally realized this was satanic and came to Jesus. These demons, called familiar spirits, would chase her and pinch her and haunt her. She finally went to a place in France (La Bree ?) where a great Christian man, Francis Schaefer, helped her to get released from these demonic spirits. In 1 or 2 Timothy 4:1, Paul talks about people being deceived by doctrines of demons. Elsewhere he writes that Satan transforms himself into an angel of light to lead people astray and away from Jesus. Jesus can save to the uttermost. But outside of Jesus and His death on the cross to take our sins upon Himself, He died, was buried and raised from the dead on the 3rd day, (1 Corinthians 15:1-3), outside of Jesus all men will receive what is justly due them for their sins and ultimately be cast into the lake of fire that was prepared for Satan and his Angels. The New Age Movement is an attempt to deceive people and lead them away from Jesus. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man can come to the Father except by Me." (John 14:6). Jesus said, "The thief comes only to kill, steal and destroy, but I have come to give life to the full" (John 10:10). The thief is satan. Right now as I am watching all the rioting, the killing, the looting, the burning and destruction of family businesses, I am watching satan's progeny at work fulfilling that verse. They have made their choice as to whom they follow. It is clear they have chosen to serve and follow satan, and they will receive their just reward. Deception is the point of the New Age, to lead people away from the only one who loved them enough to die for them that they (we) might live forever in Him. The New Age is Satan transforming himself into an angel of light in order to deceive.
