To accurately answer your question, I believe the Linux OS in question is Arch and the desktop you are seeing is i3, a keyboard centric tiling window manager. The commands in the upper right are MAC symbols because he is likely using a keyboard with the Mac layout and not a usual Windows keyboard
@@joelvandervoort4215 I am aware of some tiling window managers for MacOS however I recognize the i3 default theming since I used it for a few months on Debian before switch to Hyprland on NixOS. It was safe to assume it was Mac since at the time of this video he had recently switched off that platform
