I do expect as Bootcamps go bust and the hiring market improves these programs will become more common.
They will be highly competitive so people will need to self learn or get tech degrees to compete for limited slots.

Did Revature. Got laid off after 5 months. Training was decent but the pay during training was horrible with no after training support with your new client. $8/hr for 9 weeks. After training the hourly wage was bumped to $21 with my new client.
I just got a job offer from Dev10 after nearly a month of going through the interview process. It’s $15/hr for 12 weeks and they supposedly have continued training and membership after graduation. The first year after training will be $50k - $60k with a $10k increase in consideration of performance.
Tried HTD, considering the CEO is a former Revature employee, but didn’t make it past the wonderlik assessment. Their training plan was a little weird considering they want you to work for several weeks before they begin paying while training.

To elaborate, this program you mentioned is good. Me is different, it is an online university recognized by the government so i get a bachelor degree and a full scholarship, not loan but scholarship. I was doing food delivery but this is a dead end path.
I then decided to go back to school part timeto learn coding (which i already knew but did not have the degree). Upon researching i found that a public school was having all it's courses online... Better yet since it is a public university i get the full benefit of regular students like reduced public transportation cost, health insurance and a full scholarship... I thus decided to go full time but found a regular job before school start... After 3 months i decided to just quit that job and focus on my university... Then the government increased my scholarship so i am making more than what i was making at my job and it is a remote school... No more 2 hours ever day stuck in the subway and bus, no more 9 hours in the office...
And since it is a public University, if you are an "adult student" they won't look at your grades, only if you have high school diploma and depending on the program you will have to pass since specific courses to be fully accepted

I actually did this 2 years ago with a consultancy company in Sweden. Having “graduated” a master during the pandemic, it was still impossible for me to get a job.
I came across a Data Engineering program offered by my current employer in 2021, which was a 4 months program of intensive learning. I did not get paid during those 4 months. But there was guaranteed job/position after the graduation meaning that I would become a consultant for the company. So I took the opportunity to apply.
It was definitely not an easy application as it was over 700 applicants and only 2 got accepted from my region.
In my opinion, it was tougher than the university. But it was also worth it.

awesome explanation and highlighting the aspects
the whole schema looks like improved variant what we had in 2010s at my computes science faculty in my university: some PhD in Israel was in good relations with my department head(old friends). at higher years of studying the university department head recruited students to work part time in his software firm. contracts/projects come at outsource from Israel companies. students were sold like middle software developers. definitely firm contained seniors/leads with experience. old university friends made money/students made XP/seniors and leads had burnout:) . the restriction was that only our nice prepared students can be sold like middle devs.

Most programs run 8-15 weeks. The pay varies, but most I’ve seen pay $15-25/hr during training.
So not great pay, but you are earning while you learn.

@@SkillFoundryIO At that time I was doing the HTD while I was studying and reading a massive amount of work materials and taking tests for a new high paying job I was hired on for and I was also trying to finish my Information System lessons so I could get my degree.
1 priority was getting the job so I got that but 2nd priority was getting the HTD or my degree in Information System which I didn't get at the time.
With the HTD you are competing with other people who want the same thing but that does not mean you can't find study partners.
I wasn't able to complete all the assignments I was given and all the projects because I was overwhelmed with studying for my new job and my degree and even though I am familiar with the Java language It was a tad bit too much at the time.
