The satisfaction that comes with fixing your own stuff is unparalleled. Thanks for this in depth and accurate tutorial, and for supplying the parts needed to make the repair happen!
I had my tv with a led strip shorted that knocked out the picture and sound etc. Once I purchased the new backlight led strips and installed them, the tv came back to life. This was better than the alternative of taking to the land fill and scrapping it!!!
Hi, please show tutorial on a Telefunken TLEDD -50FHD....my telly has a 5 single strips with 14 leds per strip.... Please advise if I can use substitute strips or must they be original
Alll that work to fix the back light issue? i have one where I can see the picture if i shine a flashlight on the screen, are you sure it wouldn't be a board that needs to be changed? i ask becauser its a easier fix. thanks.
Does your alls back light sometime blink or flash when powering up ? Online forums say software resets is a fix but it’s done nothing for mine so far Guess I’ll try this next
How do you remove the address board. I see you prying with some sort of tool, which I assume is plastic. But what are doing? It is adhesive or clips that you are detaching?
@@jenniferhallex5836 I had the same. I ended up using my wifes hair dryer to melt the glue while gently removing the paper. Not perfect, but helped a lot
i understand what you are doing, but I can't understand why. Is your thinking that all of the LED strips failed simultaneously? Would it not likely just have been the LED driver / Power supply? This seems excessive and makes me think doing all of this wouldn't even repair it if it were one of the above issues.
none of my backlight strips work, does this mean simply that each doesnt work or is the issue somewhere else. I tried testing each strip with a multimeter but none light up
Don’t follow this tutorial, when I was unsnapping the tv bezel, I ended up cracking my screen. I did it exactly how they did it and still ended up cracking my screen

that's the same issue I have now. I'm still looking to find a good fix. I was a bit overwhelmed watching this video. WOW
Same issue.
Screw that s I just not going to buy this brand again it’s ba. If it has this problem they should fix it.
It's a very low end and cheap brand. If want something that is halfway decent quality stay far away.

Does this work on a sceptre 55 inch model u550cv-umr8uxtv58fe?
Did everything but I got rainbow strips on my tv
I'm working on a 70" Onn and I'm having trouble with the reflector paper. I think they used fly paper glue on it. Any suggestions?
Curious how this worked out for you. We’re debating whether or not to attempt this with our 70” Onn

How would you fix that? My tv turns on but is all black.
@@dianavilla2569same. Would love to see that.
I think he was just showing a full tear down. Surely a full backlight outage is not going to be the independant strips

“TV repair made easy”
Step 1: Completely disassemble your entire TV
These dam cheap TVs are killing the repair business no one wants to pay $200 to fix a $300 TV.
It doesn't cost $200 no where near that

So then what video tutorial would you suggest?
