Thank you for the informative video, one suggestion though, I think it is a dangerous act to use a paper instead of the actual mounting bracket to fit in the HDD. You may end up with corrupting the HDD.

You don't have to preformat your HDD, if you install an HDD (internally) on your PS3, the PS3 formats it. FAT32 is only to use external HDDs.
