As an 65 year old American I have heard this song done by many different artist including The Animals in the 60's but this Young Man is good at this song.
I agree a 100%.... THE KID CAN PLAY THAT AXE.... BUT HE NEEDS TO STOP TRYING TO SWALLOW THE MIC AND LET HIS VOICE AGE A BIT.... HE'LL GET THERE.... HES GOT THE TALENT.

It is a wonderful cover... Really nice... the control on the guitar is excellent. But the reason people play with tempo (not always slowing it down), is the same reason that this guy has played about with the vocal melody quite a bit and that his diction isn't like The Animals. They choose a tempo that's right for them, a playing style and quality that allows them access to that same connection to a song as if written themselves. That's what people mean about making a song your own.
