    The issue where I reside is that Dentistry is taught in English and most of our patients speak Arabic. So sometimes we find it difficult to use Layman’s terms! For instance I do not know what dental pulp or cementum, etc is in Arabic.

      That's a very common issue! Best thing to do is find a dentist who natively speaks Arabic and ask them :)

    Bruh good your teaching this my bf went to a dentist finally and the lady looked at his teeth and said very rudely ‘are you addicted to drugs’. He isn’t at all! he had a health issue that caused a lot of reflux and he uses a lot of asthma medication. So yeah don’t say that as a dentist please it’s freaking rude. People know when their teeth look like shit you don’t need to point it out. It took another year for him to go to the dentist again after that.
