With Franchise, i recall a baseball game a long time ago where you could create your own season, meaning any team, any players, you choose how long the season is, playoff format, etc., i would like to see something like that. also maybe they could incorporate the minors and even Little League/High school somehow, and aluminum bats. I still create my old Little League field every year, so fun. Backyard Baseball style, if anyone remembers that PC game. Would also like to see more fields like sandlot/backyard style. Like a whiffle ball field or something.

The most frustrating thing for me about 24 is I’ve played over 150 hours on the game and I just got 800k xp the xp cap needs to go especially now with so many people getting jimmy and Larry
Agreed, man. There’s no reason double xp should be required to complete the XP path for casual players.
@@huntermcfly3 just do double or triple or 4x xp every weekend with Like a month left and take away the xp cap bring it back in season 2

this game has always made me mad, but this year it is so much worse than it ever has been. perfect outs, great swing line outs, followed by fluke hits from an opponent.

Honestly haven’t touched the game, it’s been stale. They refuse to fix the game, foul balls are awful, sliders still suck. Content is stale. It feels like set 4 from last year. Don’t get me started on umpires and pitching.

I’ll hop on and load into br and when I go to choose my stadium I’ll either lean my chair back and take a nap or get up and go to my garage and chill or do something else till the console auto turns off and just won’t go back to it 😅

For franchise I think people who primarily play franchise would enjoy if franchise is similar to OOTP where it’s a full fleshed out experience of being a GM. With more realistic simulation stats, more advanced stats, and realistic progression/regression.
Hands down the most frustrating thing for me is I have almost 9 days in this game and only have 201 players locked in. Well short of the 280. I do have ls done but with so many cards being in purchased packs, you really can't do LS and collections unless you spend money, flip or can go flawless. It is really flawed. I expect them to change the collection number drastically next season.
They could make franchise more appealing by having a COOP ability. Crazy that it's 2024 and you can't play an online COOP franchise. You can do it thru share play but with the latency issues it's not playable. Should be able to do it by simply inviting a friend to the game
For franchise, add online franchise back , with the draft amd ability to use custom roster. This allows for tourneys, online leagues for money, friends can create their fave diamond dinasty cards, or any cards in general , draft players which is always fun, and play series agaisnt each other
I think the thing that frustrates me most about the game is the inconsistency with exit velos and what happens with hit balls. You can have a ball where your pci was terrible and your timing was off a bit be a home run with a 100 mph exit velo and then have a ball where your pci is basically perfect on the ball, timing is in the “good” zone, and you get a 80 mph exit velo with a short lazy fly ball. I just want it to make sense and give me a consistent result. I’m kinda a subpar player to so I always play on Rookie, Vet, or All-Star and I still see that happen every game.😳

They have a survey on the MLB the Show app about the current games state in season one. I couldn’t tell you if they take the criticism seriously, but I filled it out anyway.
The player I really wish I was better with currently is Roderick Arias. I love the build, love them speedy defensive shortstops, love the switch hitting, why do I suck sooo bad with him lmao

I've played a little mini seasons to just get some packs in the inventory for tomorrow. But other then that took last 2 days off the game to recoup. I will say that's kinda why I'm looking forward to the season 2 zero out. Because you'll see all new captain boosts since that's a season 1 captain tell you get a wild card spot

Issue with Events imo is the restrictions don't make a lot of sense half thr time, the rewards are lack luster and 3 inning stamina is broken

I been struggling to stay on the game …foul balls and good timing good contact swings are weak pop outs are mad frustrating and then you get same cards to grind for or have to buy a pack for good card 😒
They need to make online franchise mode.
I’d also love to see a mode that’s similar to FUT/MUT champs. A weekend based mode similar to events that has pack rewards.

Yeah people are toxic as hell for quitting. I played mini seasons early in the week but haven’t played much since completing the ranked program. Made 700 for first time in the game, trying to get better

I also come from an era where seeing how far the game has come it’s still amazing to see. But yeah. Bro foul balls. Stamina. Content is weird at times. (But sometimes players get to upset over content) And also I would love a new game mode. Like holy shit imagine a 5/6 inning hof br style mode.

A sensitivity setting for the pci would be the best thing they can do for this game. It feels unplayable to me without precision rings.
I’ve been saying pci sensitivity should be turned down to help pitching a tad bit. The outer pci is allowing all these foul balls so they need to fix it first more strikeouts. Franchise mood is dead, it’s like cod when we were younger the main story line was cool but now we want to go straight into warzone or multiplayer with our friends.
Franchise would be sick if you could draft ur franchise and play through the season queuing online against other franchises

So last night had a game where i was throwing pr degrom my opponent saw him and immediately sent a friendly… i declined then he per me throw 4 pitches then quit… didnt take my stamina though but thats so annoying
Lastly I got that trammell card for my outfield and literally cant hit over .225 with him 😭
I hate the current content structure but it seems like they are slowly but surely correcting it. They’re adding more packs to themed programs and are making all program rewards 99s for the remainder of S1 seemingly. I absolutely love playing the game online despite all of the issues that are consistent game to game
Franchise would be so much better if they’d take stuff from other games like maddens scouting/draft system. Automatic storylines would be great. The problem is the game mode has no soul. It’s basically a rebuild sim with no character. Honestly the worst franchise mode in sports games. A 2k style career mode would also be very good for the game.
Boost co-op. Don’t get why we can’t parallel cards, select all 9 players, even 2v2 in game tourneys. So many things just seem lazy

I haven't been playing this week though. Just waiting for new TA before I play. I like that they made content easier to do and gave us options but they really are releasing way less content this year. Don't mean to beat a dead horse but all these packs aren't content. In previous years we'd be getting programs in place of these pack drops.

The main problems are solely foul balls on all difficulties even legend for me, not enough programs, and the fact you can’t even get one of the s1 collection without getting a pack card is absurd
I wouldn’t hate to see casual ranked where quitting doesn’t matter and maybe always on all star and hall of fame. Current ranked system stays and becomes “comp ranked.” Quitting has a big penalty
casual is a mode in the game lol. because casual ranked is oxymoronic, they have to stay separate. you probably don't know about casual because it hardly gets played because everyone quits in that mode 😂😂😂

What I want to know is why is a 700 rated player letting his bar go high enough to possibly get matched with 1000+ rated players? Do they legit not know they can stop the bar or are they trying to match up with 400 rated players. If they don't know, SDS should advise they could stop the bar. If they are trying to game the system and match with 400, f 'em.
