reymont cantil Hey Rey, This is Ed Walksnice. Just returned from this show in chicago. I agree, the crystal ballroom should be included in the rest of the show. Take Care.
Wow!!!! Awesome i wanted to hear that song in the concert when I went last June 3th in The Forum, Inglewood; it sounds sooo great live!! Good they add it to the setlist of the Tour Lovee U2 always! ! Very nice video and great quality, thank you for sharing it
Thank you very much for recording this! The Crystal Ballroom is perfect live, wow! When it was first released it was probably my least favorite song on Songs of Innocence but when played live it's now a favorite. I hope I can be there if they play this next year.
Thanks so much for this Tim!!! This is awesome! I missed it by 2 shows...a little heart broken...gotta wait over a year now see it live. Anyway, this sounds so much better than the video that was shot on the floor. I hate to say this, but I think for the first time ever, the sound is better up above than down below. The tweeter speakers are turned up way too loud under the stage...almost inner ear piercing.
This song brought me to my knee’s as the words captured my inner world, the private part of me that is not shared. I live in a place with old, sick, dying dementia souls and they leave in love and return to the place - they seemed to be noticed in the passing glance, I feel their energy when I dance and sing - getting ready to do my thing - in my huge master suite bathroom that has a crystal chandelier that my Mom picked out, that hangs over the sunken garden tub. The image on the stagee reminds me of my make-up mirror, I feel their energy and I take a selfie, looking behind me in the image in a Baccarat pendant necklace I wear, it seems to be a party and they seem all there...everyone but my husband that is never home. My life is different than I thought it would be, I took the cold hand of a man that was meant for me. I been told I am a Angel of Light, I just laugh and hug them tight...knowing that one day they will be with me as I shower and sing, watching me dance under the crystal ballroom underneath my crystal chandelier. Teresa
Thank you so much for recording this Tim! I was at this show, but left my phone in my car. Turned out to be a good thing since I got to truly watch the concert and enjoy like back in the day! Plus I knew someone would be capturing it anyway and in much better quality, as you pointed out in another post. Btw, sorry I missed seeing you at the recent Chicago shows. In case you don't remember me, we met at a Chicago 360 show. We were on the rail and I offered you my 5 hour energy because I wasn't going to use it. Saw each other again in St. Louis and Minneapolis I believe. Anyway, awesome job on this video just like your other ones. Many thanks from a fellow U2 fan! Layla2100, aka Lesa.
Hate seeing all the camera phones out during gigs, I might take a photo or two myself but why not enjoy the show in that moment in time instead of listening/watching tinny, shakey and condensed videos when you get home. Also it's ignorant for anyone caught behind watching it through your screen.
age 15 and seeing this band for £7.50 at NEC Birmingham, my Irish father giving me a fiver and saying sing one for me. june 22nd Milton Keynes 1985 Milton Keynes bowl, you wouldn't have the room to point a camera etc. The crowd isn't there and anyone who was there knows what I mean, what a great band they were.
what kind of nothing song is this?! please, think about please or others what are really goodies, U2 nowdays is one big shadow of them...not bad for a new group, but please!
My Mum and Dad met at the Crystal Ballroom. This song is very moving! Beautiful!
I was there. Such a great concert! Long live U2
Wow! This song sounds great live, and Bono's voice was on point. Chicago is getting some good shows!
Many thanks to the fine man who recorded this magnificent moment in history!
this song needs to be played FOR THE REST OF THE TOUR.

At 5:20, wrong note from Edge. Thank's God, he is human after all!

Alan B Totally agreed !!! Live the moment, don't lose it !!! "Be in the moment, don't photograph it!...Don't let it get away!"
True. Besides, someone else is probably recording it anyway.
WookieeWarrior and in better quality
Exactly! Nice footage by the way, If your going to do it, do it right as saying goes.
YEah, if you're gonna sacrifice the moment so that others that couldn't go can also enjoy the concert, do it right !!! A work of art, Tim !

Deze doet bono zo goed nieuwere songs doet hij altijd beter
This performance is incredible.....Wish they'd RE-record the song playing it *this* way and include it on *SOE*.......
🌟💚💫🔥
Whats the name of this device the song was recorded? Great quality!!
the clash puro
So like Roxy!
They should really ban cellphones. People are just so sickly obsessed with taking pictures, really bizarre. Great video and quality btw!
If they banned cellphones this video wouldn't exist.
Was Bono motioning for the lyrics on the MacBook?
@U2
Could have done this sing in Vancouver instead of City of Blinding Lights
ellos nacieron para hacer grandes
Hard to find a non-overweight person at their American gigs...
Solo no good egde😝

Not a good song, sounds terrible ... my neighbour sings better under the shower
😇💙🙏
