I purchased 2024 Kia Sportage EX color glacier white pearl. I’ve had it for two days and I think it’s great.
Drove to Ottawa from Toronto on my Sportage via 401 this weekend.... for 4 hours! But half of the trip, we were in cruise control wohoo! What a pleasure to drive this thing!

I had a Kia Amanti, and it was a great car. When the warranty was finally going to expire, I took it in, and they replaced everything they could under it that needed it. A couple of radio nobs, both visors and a few other cosmetic things. The vehicle had 0 problems other than a break light button jnder the break that helps to engage the ceuise control. That was also replaced with no issue. Just did reg maintenance. Full synthetic oil every 3500 to 4000 miles. Brake changes. Tires. And an alternator swap at 13 yrs old (lasted way longer than most).
Really wish they still had a vehicle like that, perhaps a renamed Cadenza will return?
All in all, it was a great experience.
I have a 2023 Sportage EX. I averaged 5.6-6.6 L/100kms on the highway while using Adaptive Cruise Control. Going 110-113 kms per hr. Kia Specs are 7.1-7.3,L /100kms .. So if you drive with cruise and don't speed, you can achieve v good fuel economy for a non hybrid model.
Gabby is the #1 reason I watch these videos. ☺️ 😂
By chance, does kia have an email address for recommending feature enhancements to their car for the next update? I have a Sportage and love it, but there are certain trivial items that annoy me. IE: the door auto-lock feature. I'd love to be able to disable that.

I do really love my Sportage and since I am being to the electronic parking thing I want to ask about the right way to park the car and which steps are the right
press on the brake paddle then put the gear on N then Press the electronic park button then put the gear on P or all I just need to do is
press on the brake paddle then put the car on N then but the gear on Park?
I would buy one in a heartbeat, except for the ridiculously wide center console - KIA, that's where my leg goes!

In Ontario does all Kia cars come with block heaters? I noticed there was one on this Sportage EX.
Has Hyundai/Kia solved the engine issues that the Theta II had? Those burned a lot of oil and had numerous engine failures. I haven't seen much of any reviews or issues with the new Smart Stream engines on YT. Does this mean the new engines are good?
Kia is good for me in my experience.
Does the sportage 2024 have the lines built into the front windshield that help to defrost ice?
Yes, the heated windshield is featured on the EX trim level and above!
Does anyone ever do reviews on the most common trim level?

In Canada the 2025 model is unchanged. So no not exactly.

you need to invest in a better quality camera
however, the problem isn't from the camera! they have mentioned many times that an unstable network is the main problem that they face during livestreams - and yes! they are aware of that & are still working on it to improve the quality!
Thanks Sam, Yes our camera is fine, our network however could be improved. Based off where we’re located we do not currently have access to fibre optic internet which would fix our quality issue.

KIA makes okay cars but they have a bad reputation for not honoring warranties and stone walling customer complaints. 1.12 rating with the BBB.
