It happens to me once in 2010 I was crying thought it will not cure . My doctor told me it might be a year or more before it will cure. But thank God in just 2 months I'm okay my facial nerves is back. Thank you Lord. Hope he will be okay soon.

I take meds for it now and got better but my therapy has changed my life. Not sure what you are going through but I would try to find help from a professional if needed.

I wouldn't wish this on anyone! I got Belle's Palsy in 2016 right before I delivered my first child and lost all movement on the left side of my face. I had to use medical tape to tape my eye lid down to sleep, my left ear was very sensitive to noise and the muscles on that side were sore as movement came back. I still get muscle soreness on that side of my face and some sensitivity to noise, but otherwise I'm 100%, with no synchronicity issues (eyes closing at the same time/speed, etc.). I was lucky; it resolved in 2 weeks (felt like an eternity). Some have it longer. But that's Belle's Palsy. Ramsay Hunt syndrome is worse. I hope he gets what he needs to get through this. 🙏

She's always had health issues throughout childhood. His condition is from the Varicella virus. Any of us who have ever had chicken pox can get this, just like shingles. Varicella virus stays in our bodies forever so just the fact he had chicken pox as a kid, this popped up. It happens, though shingles happens more commonly. He very likely may get shingles down the road too so his doctors are probably going to recommend he gets vaxed for shingles before the normally recommended age of 50 now.
After I got my jaw surgery done for a tumor, half of my face was paralyzed. It really felt like I lost a lot of my personality, considering I use my eyebrows a lot when I talk. Eventually it came back, but my eyebrow still has not came back. I wouldn't wish this on anyone! I got Belle's Palsy in 2016 right before I delivered my first child and lost all movement on the left side of my face. I had to use medical tape to tape my eye lid down to sleep, my left ear was very sensitive to noise and the muscles on that side were sore as movement came back. I still get muscle soreness on that side of my face and some sensitivity to noise, but otherwise I'm 100%, with no synchronicity issues (eyes closing at the same time/speed, etc.). I was lucky; it resolved in 2 weeks (felt like an eternity). Some have it longer. But that's Belle's Palsy. Ramsay Hunt syndrome is worse. I hope he gets what he needs to get through this. 🙏

She's always had health issues throughout childhood. His condition is from the Varicella virus. Any of us who have ever had chicken pox can get this, just like shingles. Varicella virus stays in our bodies forever so just the fact he had chicken pox as a kid, this popped up. It happens, though shingles happens more commonly. He very likely may get shingles down the road too so his doctors are probably going to recommend he gets vaxed for shingles before the normally recommended age of 50 now.

After I got my jaw surgery done for a tumor, half of my face was paralyzed. It really felt like I lost a lot of my personality, considering I use my eyebrows a lot when I talk. Lots of bs going on. I'm arguing with medical examiners who put cause of death c19 and they died of cancer but apparently had covid at time of death. The families can't even get the death certificate changed when they know damn well it had nothing to do with covid. Every now again you have to pull the bottom of your ear 👂 lobes and run a thumb 👍across the sinuses below your eyes and above your eyes to clear your eustachian tubes where an infection may occur (especially when using unwashed headphones 🎧 more than half the day). Facial nerves are connected to and extends from the ear 👂 lobes on both sides.
