Well the title may sound dramatic, but it's very real. I was asked if I could attend the sheep farm and take care of the Foxes that the Shepherd had heard at night. Well it certainly didn't take long to do that part of the job, but what happened next, I didn't plan for.

I’m getting there chap, but still a long way off 100% Bionic.
I get tired after 2 hours on my feet, but a short walk to the seat was certainly possible, plus I’d got Graham on call should I need help.

I do miss dealing with the sheep and lambs sadly the farmer I used to help out died due to covid but still get the chance to go after foxes, always great to see the lambs jumping around after over coming the first few weeks.
They truly are amazing animals and it’s incredible how minutes after birth they are able to walk.
How long does it take for us , 18 months ?
Nice rescue there chap. What a blessing we didn't have witness you leggin' it across that field in your skull-cap 'n' speedos budgie smugglers before diving into save a life. Keep mending mate.

Another 30 minutes and there’s no doubt that the lamb in the water would not have survived.
Either the water would have been responsible or our Red friends.
Your new hip must be good as you are getting your leg over already (over the fence I mean!) Well done getting the foxes and saving the lambs.

Hopefully I’ll be back in the woods again next weekend as there’s still plenty of greys there and not yet worked out where the two feeders are !!
