The way the new stamina works basically is the lower your stamina, the slower it regens. So if you have 0% it’ll take over 5 minutes for some Dino’s, while at 80% maybe 30 seconds. And of course you regain 0 stamina walking normally, only if you do the very slow Z walk. Like it or hate it (most of us hate it) it’s probably here to stay because dondi made up his mind on it and we all know how well he takes constructive criticism into consideration
It actually works more like the longer you sit the more stam you regen, so even if youre 90% stam it might take 30 seconds to get to full if sitting because itll be slower, since youre sitting for a shorter time
Sadly thanks to this new stam I have been unable to enjoy the game, probably leaving permanently unless the make a lot of big changes
@@thecommycompy5450 I bet theyll change it, I think kissen mentioned changing it in the devblog which is nice, I think it would work if it didnt make it SO punishing to run for 3 seconds, like at least add stam regen to trotting and take about 3 mins instead of 5 for sitting, at least changes like that. And then yaknow make carno actually viable this update too lol not ridiculous like it is currently

The concept of the stamina is good, but so poorly implemented.
For me it doesn't seem to regen any faster at around 80%.

I absolutely love the Zooming Islander server, sadly they're stuck on their backup server currently. But on their regular server, they have grows and server restarts every 3 hours, unless admin is unavailable (which I'm pretty sure they're off on Wednesdays). The server restarts happen an hour after grows. The Zoo is also a really good one. Both have short nights, both do grows, and both are no rule servers.
Also, migrations are basically for getting diet. Migrations do rotate, but only when all the diet is gone. Some dinosaurs won't see each other while following migration whilst some will cross paths.
Beipi regains stam when swimming on top of water (not sprinting), it also looses a lot less stam when porpoising, also don't run everywhere if you don't have to... Sanctuaries are actually really great for Herb and Omi players to get all diets... Sanctuary bees do a percentage % damage, all adult Dinos get the same % damage, so you wont die quicker if your small

Beipi only loses stam underwater so if you're low on stam in water you can just go on the surface and slow down a little to regen

All the time I spend playing as a beipi... and I have yet to ever find another one.
I decided to play beipi after dying so many times as Cerato and being to frustrated to grow again and I will say. Beipi is the most fun and chill experience ever and most other Dino’s seem to leave me alone most the time unless they very hungy lol.

Migrations lead Dino’s to areas with a high number of a specific part of their diet
Btw sancuary bees are not bad, they take precentage of your health.
So an adult carno and a juvi teno will die at the same time if they enter the sancuary at the same time.

12:20 (david voice) the beipis are are on their way to the migration quite carefree and joyful, little do the creatures know this is the natural hunting ground of the random cliff, with a nearly invisible edge and covered by greenery the geoformation is difficult to pinpoint, the beipis best keep their guard up.
