Thanks for this video! Really helped me think about how to build a functioning citywide metro system! 35k sims and traffic is non-existent. It's so fun to just focus on zoning and neighborhood building. Couldn't have done it without this video!
Nice strategic placement of the stations with a high usage. Just got to love how they are all pouring out like ants. Once the city grows larger, the City Center would be the perfect place for the big hub.

Always gotta love metro ^-^ I think the audio sounds very good, great job ❤ And I like the structure of your guide, asking important questions that one should think about when one tries to build a nice and successful metro/transit system ^-^ It's very good that you mention noise pollution ^-^ This is actually one of the things that i personally keep forgetting to think about when building metro/transit, so I should really take especially this tip to heart :D Very cool that you're going for a loop system here ^-^ I personally always fall into the pattern of creating the back-and-forth kind of lines, which is nice and works well, but it's always been like this for pretty much most of the cities i ever built. So I like seeing the diversity here and once again this is something that I should do in my own city, just doing it differently from what I'm so used to. Always very nice to see the happiness spreading from the stations when you create a transit line, isn't it? :D As i very frequently like to mention, i think metro (and public transit in general) hugely benefits from the Vehicles CCP, the new metro trains in there have so much more capacity than the normal ones, it's a huge difference. Sims want to go from residens to commercial and back. And they want to go from residens to work and back. So talking about connecting residens to residens isn’t all that relevant by it self.
That happens sometimes are you using mods? If so make sure it’s under ground also try replacing the station and use your up and down keys to see if it will connect. If you are familiar with Discord you could join and we could try and help you with it!
@@AutumnThe_Toaster hmmm 🤔 I did have some issues with that on the PS4 they can be very finicky and you can still use the up and down but you also have to be exactly on the space which may look offset and no worries.

Yes but if your making enough money then it is a very efficient way to get cims from place to place and I do explain that it is very expensive and you need the budget for it.

What a nice looking metro loop you built! Do you find metro loops are more beneficial or lines running back and forth to a central hub?

Not usually it benefits your traffic and people’s happiness.
